ASIII: Super easy to assemble in like five minutes! Spring adjustable metal tubes and quite clever in its design. Great for apartments that won’t allow exterior holes being drilled for support. I think it’s better that those complicated funky ones that require nuts and bolts and head scratching instructions that almost never quite work as intended. This is sturdy. It’s holding a full size Westinghouse 20,000 BTU perfectly! I’m happy with this purchase.

wendy clauson: Used it for an airconditioner.

There is nothing I dislike about it….I have two.

🍒Cherrybomb🍒: The bar that rest against house needs too be longer. I have to put a 4 by 4 piece of wood against house for it to sit against. Otherwise great stand easy to put together, pin is super tight to get through holes but once it is through once your good to go. It is sturdy and does the job!

Amazon Customer: I liked it because i'm a renter so didn't have to drill any screws in the building. I used it to support my ac.

G.BG.B: Honestly do you not do tests before selling a product? If do, did you only fit it on 1 window. Not even close to being a universal design, that is if you can call it a design at all!!

I have standard window fitting and you would require at least a 6” block of wood to shim it up in order for it to be level. That’s the biggest joke of it all, a spitit level, are you for real. You spent all that money on a stupid spirit level, how about a design, go figure.

Complete waste of money. Poor design, plastic bits fall off if you blow on them, spring a waste of time, flimsy at best, stay well clear.

Benjamin KentBenjamin Kent: The main problem with the unit (nt-1 flat t) is its rather poor execution of a reasonably good design idea just to save a dollar or two per unit. A very typical Chinese made low quality product for an American company.

The T bar that installs from inside on window panels is bit flimsy, and will only stay flat against the window if you have a flat window panels to support inside T bar, and your window is less than 30 inch wide. Two shallow metallic bars are joined with flimsy plastic flat head screws that can easily break if the assembled unit is not properly handled. This will make your back bar fall on the head of someone below while installing. So be very careful! They could have used a flat head metal screws instead to provide better strength and stability to the joints but decided to save money on screws (or may be just to call the design "tool-less").

The second, even bigger problem, as highlighted in other reviews too, is the plastic leg support stoppers simply don't stay there no matter how much you try. That is both due to design and manufacturing flaws. You may have to use some tape or glue to make them stay on leg ends.

River: So, I’m A fairly strong 6’2” fella’, The buttons
(metal objects built into the male half of the frame, designed to lock the unit)
were very difficult to press in, and they need to be pressed in several times for each side, one at a time.
When installing it is my opinion that you should plan on lifting the unit into the window and removing it several times to be sure it is secure, I do not have it tied, or secured. It is secure simply by gravity and proper installation, if you live where there is earthquakes please be safe and secure the unit additionally after the unit is securely installed.
(I do not work for this company I’m just sharing my tips as free Intillectual information ;) )
When properly installing you want the final position of the bracket to be secure and lined up with the design of the AC you have purchased.
Initially, after removing the screen and cleaning the windowsill, I connected the two halves of the bracket and set it in the center of the windowsill.
(be sure your AC is level for 24 hours before turning it on otherwise you will permanently damage the unit, I have the physical strength to keep the unit level...

Glaeken: This was my only option because I rent.

You'd think this thing would be easy to assemble looking at it. Holy cow it was ridiculous!! I had to do it before I could put it on the window because the tubes were so snug that they had to be smashed with a heavy shoe while holding it against the floor to get it to advance. Then I had to use a tool to depress the locking button because one would not depress with finger weight.

When I finally got it together to put it on the window I had to really struggle to get it in place because it was already together. Then it wasn't tight enough so I had to use a heavy piece of wood to advance it one more notch while holding it in place with my body.

It would have rocked due to the design of my window but I grabbed a piece of scrap wood to level it. You also should buy extra gaskets or insulation for the large gap at the bottom between the window and the frame.

After all of my struggles the AC went in rock solid, sturdy and had no vibration. After struggling the previous two years and the AC falling after crushing my hand on the way down. This not so easy to assemble thing was a great investment and I...
