RD.: I have had this oven for a little over a year. I cook and bake a lot and I like everything about this oven: all the features, it works well, the self clean is effective.

Laurie T.: Regarding the short electrical cable on this oven, take the electrical cable off the old oven and splice the cables in a junction box at the bottom of the new oven. At the big orange store, I got a shallow 4" square junction box, a cover, a bag of three 1/2" flexible metal conduit connectors, and a bag of a dozen big blue wire nuts for under $10. Mount the junction box to the cabinet with 3 wood screws.

To lift the oven to the proper height, take off the doors, and pile up some lumber, lifting it up an inch at a time from each side. Or you can get a Harbor Freight hydraulic table.

When replacing a door, tilt it to make the top of the hinge bracket horizontal.

Amazon Customer: Had a different oven before and the electrical box was at the top and so was the house electrical box. Frigidaire has the box at the bottom and the 3 feet cable is a joke. Frigidaire wanted $378 to sent me a 10' cable. What a price gouging. How about including a 6 feet cable instead which should cover almost every electrical configuration.

Russell Bateman: ...and awkward by comparison with our old GE oven stack. For instance, you must turn the oven off in order to change the temperature. It's hard to operate in a dark kitchen; you must turn on a light to see many of the controls. (I'm probably just whining here.)

However, it has great features that our old one didn't have. The quick preheating is amazing. We like the racks, especially the sliding racks. Lots of pluses; both ovens offer convection (many double-stacks offer only one of the ovens in convection). We like it a lot.

By the way, if you're replacing an older oven stack, you can install this with either a 50-ampere/6-gauge or a 40-ampere/8-gauge circuit, but not a 30-ampere/10-gauge circuit.

camel joe: So far an excellent wall oven. I took off one star because of the AB trucking delivery. The trucking company was supposed to arrange a delivery date in advance. Instead, they called ten minutes before arriving at our home. If we were not there, the wall oven would still be on the delivery truck.
