Jamoross: I never saw the original remote for the Frigidaire air conditioner hanging on my window. I didn’t even know it supported one. While cleaning it, I noticed what seemed to be an infrared receiver, so I looked online and bought this remote. (The buttons on the control panel were getting “difficult” and sometimes needed a wiggle to work.)
This remote worked as soon as put batteries in it. Cool! (Literally!)
My air conditioner is branded “Frigidaire” but is a model (FAA067P7A1) made by Electrolux.

JB: Love this remote, it’s better than the one that came with the AC. It’s ready to use without any programming, which is a huge plus! I have 3 Frigidaire air conditioners and all work with the same remote. I ordered this as a replacement for 1 and wound up replacing all 3 and retiring the originals. The remotes that came with the AC’s were too thin and just “not remote-like”. These are regular remotes that you’ll enjoy using along with your other device remotes. Also, AAA batteries are definitely preferable to the CR2032 and likely interchangeable with your other device remotes. In my opinion, CR2032 is for watches and car fobs, not home device remotes. This is way-way better!
