FridaBaby 2-in-1 Portable Sound Machine & Nightlight - White Noise Machine for Babies & Toddlers

bf: This small little cube has been amazing and with us since week 2 of baby number 2. I was looking for something that was a portable nightlight whoosher and this popped up. Like some other people mentioned, the button design is absolute garbage though. I’m all for clean design but I have accidentally turned whooshes off, lights on, switched noises all while trying to breastfeed a newborn in the middle of the night. The strap does come undone a wee bit too easy for us lugging around the car seat with it attached to the handle. But it’s done pretty well with falling onto concrete. I haven’t really needed the nightlight since figuring out how to feed baby at night.

Battery life has been solid when we’ve traveled and it’s been playing white noise plugged in and attached to our cosleeper bassinet for the past 6 weeks uninterrupted. Will report back on whether I fried the battery by leaving it plugged in. Definitely lightweight and I recommend getting this.

Lyndsey: Best purchase I’ve made all year. Extremely portable and lightweight. A charge last about 20+ hours. We travel a lot and my daughters are used to falling asleep to their sound machine at home. This is a lifesaver when we travel now so we can have the sound machine while in car, hotel, plane, etc. Compact size, fits into diaper bag seamlessly. Highly recommend.

Amber: At home, I have gotten my newborn used to having a sound machine for all of her naps. Sometimes, I need her to nap in the car so I figured this would help to mimic her typical sleep environment. This sound machine is easy to charge and has several options for sound. It even has a strap to help connect it to her carseat. It has held charge for at least a few hours before I have needed to recharge it. I have not yet tested the maximum amount of hours it can go before needing charged. I will say that you need to press pretty hard on the buttons in order to turn the power on/off and adjust the volume.

Karen E: I have one of those bassinets that has a built in white noise and lullaby feature, this little fella is SO MUCH better. The tracks in my bassinet white noise have noticable skips or sound when the track replays, theres a "chhh" sound during the rain, a "skurp" in the waves, and a "kkk" in the white noise. Trust me, when you're sleep deprived and terrified your baby is gonna somehow smother themselves or whatever your fear is when you're an anxious post partum mess you are listening for the tiniest change in sound. The repeats in my high-end bassinet were driving me INSANE. It sound unreal, but I even timed them. The frida white noise has more....depth? The tracks don't sound as fake or fuzzy. The repeats (of what I can hear) are far apart and more subtle. And best of all? The battery lasts and lasts and lasts. I charge it every morning, but if I forget I can usually get another night out of it (unless I have the night light feature turned on). I love that I can travel with it for car naps on road trips or even on vacation.

10/10 one of my better baby purchases.

jjjj: Traveling with a newborn/baby is hard. You think so much on what to bring & not to bring. If you're like me you're an overpacker lol. But I knew I HAD to bring a sound machine, not just for the plane but for helping baby to sleep in the hotel. Because my baby slept with white noise at home, we wanted the hotel environment to be the same so it's easy for her to sleep.

You can't go wrong with Frida products in general. What I love the most about this is the size. And for this to be such a small portable size, the sound is amazing. You can also have the machine attach to anything, on a backpack, on the bed, on the stroller, on anything really as it has a built in lanyard thing. Sounds vary from static white noise, waves, outdoor birds and one more I forgot lol. But my baby's fave is the ocean waves. Did I mention it also is a night light! It's super useful when the room is too dark & the baby needs some light. Also it makes it easy to find the machine in the dark in the middle of the night to shut off or turn up/down the volume.

We have it on all night so it might die a little faster for us. But the machine does charge fast & the battery does last long. I'm...

Además el sonido es bastante relajante no solo para bebé sino para mí. Además luego lo uso en consulta (soy psicóloga) como sonido al fondo en algunos ejercicios
