John C Beasley: I have been using Diablo blades for years. One thing I have noticed is that they STAY SHARP. I have been using the same blade on my cordless saw and my corded saw for over a year. I am retired and I am building my own home, albeit at a slow pace. During this project, it has been over three years, I have only bought three Diablo blades before this one. Two of them are on different sized cordless saws and the other on my corded saw. I have had a couple of instances where an unseen nail or screw has been hit by the blade(s). Regardless, the blades keep on cutting. I purchased this blade just for cutting furniture grade sheet goods to reduce the splintering effect. I highly recommend Diablo blades for their quality and durability. Less expensive, in the long run, than buying multiple generic blades. I'm not a professional carpenter but even I can see the difference. I highly recommend these.
