Maria R.: So, I don't write many reviews but for the person like myself wondering if they should buy this blade rather than a cheaper one ... I hope this helps. I am building a new workshop. I bought an old table saw just to leave outside .. at $50 it is expendable. I didn't want to spend more on a blade than I did on the saw! I had a new "contractor grade" blade laying around ... It was brand name ... I think it cost about $35. It was suppose to save HP by having a "thin kerf". It was thin alright ... thin enough to flex when I tried to make an angled cut! It would not cut when I set the saw to 22 deg! It rubbed ... burned the wood ... I could see the blade flex and push away from the wood.
So I looked at the blade I took off (all of these are carbide and 40 to 50 teeth). It was much thicker ... did a full 1/8 cut.
I searched amazon ... read a bunch of reviews ... found this one ... grit my teeth a bit and went with it.
A $65 blade on a $50 saw ... hmmmm
It came it ... put it on ... WOW !!!!
Made that old saw cut like it was brand new!
Smooth cutting at any angle ... great finish ... saw did not even bog down (the old blade was getting dull and I...

bblack: First use of this blade was to rip quite a few long boards. So far so good.

Igor: Excellent blade. I use it for a few weeks. Does work great in crosscutting hardwood (cherry), plywood. Works also well for small ripping cuts, but for the big ripping job, I would still recommend true ripping blade.
Since I installed this combination blade, I never changed it, although I do have crosscutting blade and ripping blade.
Woodworking is my hobby. May be professional woodworkers would have more critical opinion.

Vk: Good 9 inch blades are tough to come by, it’s an odd size. Most “on site saws” are 10” and 12”, which don’t fit my dinosaur 1950’s Beaver table saw. This line of Freud Industrial is as good as you are going to find. The blade plate is a couple notches heavier than the usual off the shelf blades which translates into no blade wobble under stress. The teeth are a real decent size chunk of carbide, a full 1/8” wide, and this should allow you to sharpen it several times more than a typical blade. The carbide is also a harder grade, giving you more cutting between sharpening. The coating on the blade plate does not easily wear off, plus there. Freud does an excellent job placing the teeth at the correct angle to maximize cutting quality even when you push the board through the saw at a fast pace.
I’m giving this product 11/10 for value and quality, used for its intended purpose. It’s not intended for chip feee cutting of double sided melamine but meant for ripping plywood, particle board, various hardwood, and such, so if you are considering purchasing this, be mindful of what you are planning to use it for. Freud has many blades that are specific to the...

Josue Garcia: Desde el principio se persive la buena calidad, muy duradero, lo he usado por alrededor de 5 meses en el taller de carpintería todos los días, en mi opinión de lo mejor en discos de corte para carpintería. No decepciona.

Vitali: So I've been using Freud blades before and have been very happy with them. Needed a full kerf blade with a flat bottom for use in joinery and saw this one on a good deal for $65 so decided to take the plunge.
I think the chart of what it's good for describes this blade perfectly - it's fine for just about anything.
It leaves a bit of chip-out on plywood and doesn't leave a very nice finish (compared to 80-tooth plywood blade that leaves a finish similar to it having been sanded to 220 grit).
The bottom of a non-through cut isn't exactly flat, leaving a bit of a bat-ears shaped cut that needs to be cleaned up. But it's better than the big bat ears left by my other blades.
It doesn't leave a perfectly smooth finish when ripping 2x4's lengthwise (or on the end-grain for that matter), which requires more clean-up. Also, ripping 2x4's tripped my 15A breaker when going at a normal pace, so had to really slow it down - something I hadn't had an issue with using my thin-kerf blades.
It's a decent blade overall, but it's really not a great blade for any specific task. Kind of wish I'd gone for a few dedicated blades instead.

Manuel: Is this the best blade out there?…no. Is it great for the price point? Absolutely. Arrived nice and sharp, as a new blade should. Blade was nice and flat with no discernible runout. Cuts extremely well
