Ribby smith: Pump is very flexible and easy to assemble. I am able to pump more milk with the collection cup. Satisfied with my purchase.

Sabrina: Ended up with this as I couldn’t return it after finding a different pump system. Thankfully it worked with the Panhpy pump so it made a decent backup while the other set is being washed.
Pros: works with many different pumps and is easy to pour out milk without spills
Cons: the hard plastic flange can get irritating, even with coconut oil
Overall, it’s a good product but I wouldn’t buy it again considering other ones with more comfortable silicone flanges exist for cheaper.

Haley: I exclusively pumped (& had oversupply) with these pump cups for a year. I would not have been able to pump exclusively without these cups. I was able to put my pump on while working, while doing chores, and even wore them while working out on the elliptical.
These cups hold more milk than most competing cups - they would hold close to 10 ounces of milk if they got filled to the very top. They are not spill proof, so you do have to be careful about not bending over too much to keep from spilling.
These cups were fairly easy to clean and held up very well. I did not have to replace them until almost a year of use when the inner silicone piece wore out (I used very often since the Freemie Independence was my only pump).
I did find that if you did not put the pieces together just right that it would not function properly. If you start with putting the smaller silicone “cup” piece in the “J” piece first and be sure it is touching all around before attaching that to the “funnel” piece then you shouldn’t have any trouble.
These cups fit just fine in underwire bras and sports bras as a C cup size at the time.
I plan to use these cups for pumping again...

Michael Sansone: I wish I could attach an image or video to this review. Let me start by saying I have been exclusively pumping for seven weeks and have tried so many pumps and flanges/ pump parts. I own a Buddha baby (which I hoped to pair with these cups), a spectra s1, a medela pump in style, and a medela symphony. Four different pumps- four different styles of pump parts.
I’ve tried all the parts that come with every one of the pumps listed above. Some pump parts are more comfortable than others BUT…

NEVER HAD I EVER HAD PHYSICAL INJURY FROM PUMP PARTS. I have used these twice THAT IS IT. The first time I collected above average yield and was happy. It wasn’t until the next morning when I realized I had two huge blisters on my nipples that I grew concerned. I was unsure why this happened and suspected these cups but it had been a whole night so I was unsure. Used them again today and, you guessed it, another blister. These cups pull my nipple to the very end of the tunnel and squish them on the back of the cup-over-and-over.

I wanted to just return or get my money back but that is not allowed. Even when you are physically injured by the use of this product.

Please...

Edmee: First of all there are some people who answered the question “is this compatible with medela?” With yes, but actually none of the Medela pumps are included in the list of compatible pumps. Funny enough I got to discover that AFTER I purchased and they truly cannot be compatible with my Medela because the tubing connects differently. However, with a little hack I made it work with my Medela Freestyle Flex thanks to the silicone of the freemie connector being flexible. Connected the freemie tube to one medela tube, closed the other one. Anyway, it worked to pump milk but had to use max suction. Long tubing may lose some suction.

The flanges are max size of 28mm so if you need bigger, like I do, not available. The smaller flanges don’t hurt me anymore but they pump less milk.

Also this cost me about 170 CAD which is a lot of money for just cups and not the pump. Funny enough after I bought them I discovered that there exists also a company called legendairy that makes a similar product and does ship to Canada directly from their website in US and they are cheaper AND they are compatible with my medela pump according to the list on their site. I was so desperate...

KwKw: I bought this with high expectations, with a busy 17 month old and a newborn I needed something to help with pumping while dealing with the kids.

First of all, I think they are expensive for what is essentially a bit of plastic.

The idea was amazing, it really did free up my hands so I could do other things. I used these around ten times, at different times of day to see how they worked for me. Only twice did they perform perfectly. The rest of the time the suction stopped, I had to take them apart after starting a pump to try to troubleshoot which took time, more so because then I had to wash/fully dry before using again and eventually decided it was not worth the hassle/risk of mastitis through not pumping properly. Only a few times did I get them working again soon enough to finish the pump although I really did try to sort them! This photo shows the difference between breasts in one half hour session, it was the same cup that I had the issue with from the start (I put a small sticker on) and the intermittent suction clearly had an effect on the amount produced!
I pumped less than my normal amount using these which I could cope with but having to do a pump with...

Heather Venable: The Freemie is a game changer. My son has had difficulty latching and so I have been pumping since they day he was born. This has required me to schedule my life around a pumping schedule and be chained to my plug in pump. It has been a lot of work, but he is worth it. I saw the Freemie and read the very mixed reviews. I was a little hesitant to purchase because it’s not exactly cheap and I don’t think it’s returnable. However, for the promise of freedom I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I could not be happier and I recommend the Freemie to all my friends who are nursing mothers.

First, I use the cups with the Ameda Mya Joy portable pump and it works without any issues. That was a relief since it is not listed as one of the tested pumps. But it works. I can walk around the house, plug it into the power outlet in the car, etc.

The fit...no, it does not look completely natural. You’re putting plastic cups in your bra. Let’s be realistic. The instructions even advise you to wear a loose shirt or a scarf if you want to better conceal what you’re doing. However, you’re walking around with a pump...the motor is pretty audible. It’s no secret what...

Amazon Customer: The freemie is pricey for what it is. However it does give a freedom from being tied to a plug socket and is cheaper than alternative hands free pumps. The freemie means that I can pump whilst playing with the twins and doing housework.

As suggested in other reviews I'm using it with a bumbag, so I can walk around with it.
I'm using my Freemie with a Bellababy Dual pump. Attached the freemie tubing to the cup, connect the freemie tubing to the Bellababy tubing, and Bellababy tubing to the Bellababy pump.
This give a lot of long tubing. After getting used to the system, I cut one (of the three tubes provided) down into two pieces (if you cut the one tube wrong you've still got two functioning tubes).

My biggest issue with the freemie is sterilising. The manual says do not steam or microwave streilise. The manual says to 'boil at first use for ten minutes', and to not let items sit at the bottom of the saucepan. If you don't have a extra large casserole pot from a handy Greek MIL then you may have to do this in three turns (I.e.30mins). So clearly not viable after even pump.
When I boiled the freemie a white residue was left of the plastic, after a bit of...

Wichtige info...
