Perhaps it's unrealistic expectations but the pair I purchased last year lasted me just about one year before a hole developed in the middle of the palm.
Edit: I gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered a second pair. The new pair lasted less than 2 weeks before it also ripped in the palm. There's really no excuse for this. I processed a refund and will be looking at another brand. I suggest you do the same.
