Hope this helps...: My child has very itchy skin in the winter time due to dry skin and this lotion seems to do the trick in moisturizing his skin, he still scratches an little but much less. We tried other kid's lotions and they just don't work. And it doesn't burn if you have open skin. The downside of this lotion is that it does feel sticky especially in your hands. On the body, you don't feel it unless you touch your skin but on the hands, you have no way to not touch your own hands so we washed the hands after applying and use a separate lotion for the hands. If Dove can fix this sticky feeling, then the lotion will be five stars.
