Barnhpr: This is the best fly swatter I ever had. The handle is stiff and the head is thick and stiff enough that it delivers a deadly blow even to wasps in flight. That is saying a lot. If you can hit it, this thing will kill it. And, you can swing it as hard as you like. It holds up to the action.
I have wasps in the house from time to time and though I hate to kill them, they can give you quite a sting. A regular wire handle swatter or one with a plastic handle can knock them out of the air, but they get back up and keep on going. Not with this unit. The long handle gives the head a faster speed and the stiffness makes the impact severe. I have an almost 100% kill rate with this swatter. Wasps, horse flies, you name it. They don't stand a chance.
The only drawback is that it does not have a way to hang it up. There is no lanyard or a place to attach one easily. Still five star in my book.

Alvin W. Yarberry II: They are not too bad for the price. The only issue I have with them is the head spins a little too much. Swing it too hard, fast, it goes from a swatter to a chopper. Other than that, they are okay. My solution, glue it!!

REPO: Upon opening, they look great and I love how they open up to a much longer length. The plastic construction part feels standard to any other swatter and it's nice to have the chrome handle for extra sturdiness. The problem I'm fearing is the connection between the plastic and metal. It feels flimsy and I'm afraid that upon actually using it a few times, it will break off (sooner than later). We will just have to see but otherwise, can't go wrong for the money. The colors are great and everything is in good working order so far. Also, great coated & grooved handles too, for convenience and comfort.
