DaveDave: My FOSMON, 6ft × 12mm, 5 Digital Dial Combination Lock with PVC Weatherproof Sheathing and Bike Mount arrived on time and is in good condition. Thank you Amazon (Au) for an expedited dispatch and Australia Post for, as always, a fast delivery.
Upon opening the product packaging I found the cable lock to be in excellent condition. The strands of wire that make-up the cable appear to be unbroken. The cable is solidly secured to the lock. The PVC sheath is totally intact. There were no abrasions on the lock or PVC sheath.
I applied a little lock lubricant in the lock cylinder opening and rotated each tumbler dial a few times, to ready the lock for use. This will make it easier to use and increase its lifespan. Repeat this process, periodically.
Setting a new Combination (for security reasons) is easy and accomplished in 1 - 2 minutes - see enclosed instructions.
Instructions on installing the bike mount are scant. However, installing the bike mount is easy. Place the provided collar (inner section of the bike mount) over the desired location.
