Forest Guys Dog Bowls and Cat Bowls are the best basic bowls for cats. They are easy to maintain, offer great value for money, and are incredibly sturdy. Plus, they come in a variety of sizes to suit all of your cat's needs.
Kayleigh: I have three cats and a small dog and wanted to have enough bowls to swap them out after meals and leave them in the dishwasher for a day. This was cheaper for the pack than most of the single metal bowls sold at local pet stores.
They're good for the price point, arrived quickly, and were packaged well. I like how flat they stack, since they don't take up much space in the cabinet.
They are definitely very lightweight and thin, so they probably won't last your pet's whole life and could be bent or dinged up by a larger/stronger dog. They will slide around on the floor if your pet is an enthusiastic eater.
As long as these things work for you, it's a good buy. I'd recommend them for animals under 20 pounds who aren't going to toss them around like a frisbee.

Mickey: We were looking for individual cat dishes that would help prevent whisker fatigue and enable our cats to eat to the bottom of the bowl. These are great for that, and the price is so low. Be aware, they are wider and thinner than the average cat dish, so they don't quite fit perfectly in the dishwasher, but for the price, you will make do. One of mine is already dented after a couple of weeks, but again, not paying a fortune, so I'm happy.

R. P.: They are very flimsy and light. But they are perfect for cats because of the very low sides to avoid whisker fatigue. They work well for wet or dry food and do not take up much room in the dishwasher. I am a budget cat owner so these are perfect because of the price. I put them on silicone pot holders to keep them from sliding. I expect them to last a long time.

AnonymousAnonymous: Needed new cat-food plates as almost all of the ceramic (human) plates we were using have gotten broken (thanks to cats knocking them off surfaces or us clumsily dropping them). Decided to give stainless steel plates a shot (less breakable).
They’re a great size for wet cat food servings.
But they are *really* lightweight. And one did have a significant dent in it (as another reviewer mentioned, which seems mighty coincidental...).
The cats *don’t* seem to move them around the floor when eating off them (that we’ve noticed), which had been a concern before ordering them.
Still, I’d love to find this size plate, in stainless steel, but thicker/heavier OR with a rubberized bottom so they definitely wouldn’t slide...
