Alex Engler: I liked this book, however a lot of the beginning parts talked more about “being one with the earth” and “showing gratitude to the plants” and stuff like that, which isn’t really my thing but if you’re into that this would be right up your alley. I was expecting more medicinal recipes like salves and tinctures from this book but most of the recipes are food related, which is totally fine, just not what I was expecting. But I will definitely be trying out some of the recipes in there for sure!

S. C. Summons: This book is very useful when you are foraging for certain plants to use for herbal medicine because you have to be careful that you don't pick anything that is poisonous. It also contains a picture of the plant. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make their own herbal medicine.

ArkAmA: When I first heard about this book (in pre-order) I was already interested in it. I also have Rosalee's first book, which I loved, so I knew the quality was going to be outstanding again. But I thought the price was reasonably high and, considering I have problems reading, I decided not to pre-order it.
I also have followed some herbal courses where Rosalee was involved and so, some time later, the book was offered to me again. By that time it had come out and I followed an online workshop in which it was presented more in depth.
At that moment I realised I just could not 'not buy' it... so I ordered it anyhow.
The book arrived very soon after and I must say I have not regretted buying it! It is so beautiful, interesting and nice to go through even just looking at the pictures to compare them to the wild herbs in our garden and on the land!
It has triggered my thirst for more, to know more about these herbs, finding out medicinal purposes etc.
And guess what: in the meantime I have already used some of these wild herbs to make a soup, a pesto, a spinach! It is all fun to do, I am sure I get organic base material, it is full of vitamins and stuff and it does not cost...

Sarah J Faulkner: I truly love this book! I've recently become interested in herbs, "weeds," and wildcrafting, and (since it's my way) I have therefore bought several books on the topic. Each has its virtues. But I love Wild Remedies; it is definitely my favorite to date. First off, it is absolutely beautiful! It is thoughtfully and creatively designed, formatted, and illustrated. Each "weed" addressed is given several pages, which include general information on the plant itself, then some more in depth botanical and identification information, followed by ideas for using the plant to improve one's health, and last some recipes for using the plant in food or beverages. The recipes are clear and concise, easy to follow.
Additionally, the book has ideas for journaling, with thought provoking questions throughout, designed to get a person thinking more deeply and curiously about plants in general, as well as the planet at large. This is a book that stimulates change, in behaviors and attitudes, but in a way that is loving, curious, intriguing .... I hardly can think of a way this book could be better.
One additional note: shortly before I bought Wild Remedies, I bought another, similar...
