sprite125: It's ... okay. The story isn't bad but it isn't great. If it wasn't TMNT themed, I would pass.

Judd: The new reboot of TMNT is awesome. I watch it with my kids (5&3) and they love it and I like the nostalgia. Had to get a few books for bedtime that are just like the show

eireeire: It's a short, simplistic story, but it's true to the style of the cartoons that hold a lot of nostalgia with me, and it leaves plenty of room for parental exposition. The illustrations are bright & crisp with a lot going on and it was a good fun read. The book format is really unusual for me, it nothing like any hardback book I've seen before, definitely budget. The cover is a sheet of dense cardboard, with a print applied to it's face, with raw cardboard edges all around (usually wrapped with the print), and a groove cut into it to form a weak spot for the spine bend when you open it. The only downside I had, and it actually bothered me quite a bit as I cut my finger on it, there was the sharp end of a staple poking out through the gold foil spine wrap. This doesn't appear on the other books I've got in this range so I presume it's not intentional, but it does point to a lack of quality control which can slightly dangerous.

Bill Habkirk: The book was great.

Justine: We got this book for a 3 year old as the tv show is too violent for him. The book is a great replacement bc he’s a major TMNT fan but isn’t allowed to watch the show! This book isn’t too violent for a 3 year old in my opinion. The turtles fight and defeat robots rather than something living in this book so, that’s a plus for an impressionable kid. He loves it!
