KatyaKatya: It was a mess to work with, but miraculously it turned out good. If I would normally spend 10 minutes on sparkling styrofoam rounds from the Dollar tree, these I had to spackle for two days! I had to take breaks and wait for spackling to dry. Same spackling that I use all the time, just wouldn’t stick to it! I had to apply multiple layers, and wait until each layer dries, otherwise it would just fall off with the chunks of styrofoam!
My project was supposed to be with the smooth finish, but I had to make it textured at the end, to cover all the mess. This styrofoam is very chunky and loose, kept breaking out on the edges. I was about to give up but somehow managed to work with it. I’m NOT BUYING it again!
I wish I took pictures or video DURING the process. Something that takes me total 30 min to make, took 2 days. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it, if you’re planning on using it for faux cakes.

Lynda: The media could not be loaded. Used the craft foam as a base for the flower arrangement on the end of aisle stands for my wedding. The flowers stayed in place very well the foam was easy to press silk flowers into. Very pleased.
