RoBanJo: Not too loud nor too quiet for use indoors. Outside, with background noise they can be a little too quiet for the dog on occasion. Easy to use, hold and have handy. I keep one in every room and even keep some outside along with treats for training opportunities. I enjoy the many colors. When training: I like to place the wristlet on my hand, the clicker between my fingers and thumb (thumb on the button ready to click). Glad I purchased these.
