GN Douglas: Great little pump. I actually use mine down a 8” sump pipe on my swimming pool, to stop water accumulation under my pool. So it’s outside and going on and off many times an hour during rainy days, but it works like a champ.

Works great! The only trick is I have to use manual to get as low as possible.

ROB: It's a nice pump at a great price. Using for my pool. You need a better rope for setting it tends to lean to one side or the other while placing it on cover.

ROBERT SIMPSON: Pump works great … but on automatic you really need to install a check valve or it will recycle!

Gustl: I bought this pump 13 month ago. It works well pumping rainwater from the tank into my man-made pond 150 m away with a 1/2" garden hose. Really like the automatic shut off feature. So even if I am gone the pump does it job. Unfortunately after 13 months the pump stops working. I messaged the seller and the next day I got the answer they will send me an replacement. Replacement arrived 3 days later without any cost to me. This is a top service. I definitely would buy again from this seller. 5 stars.

Greg: A sump pump used in emergency high water flooding in a house should work properly BUT this unit has defective float switch which caused flood damage in the basement the insurance deductible is here ready when the seller wants to pay for it don't buy this pump to pump water

KonKal: UPDATED REVIEW: Below is my original review. The company read it and contacted me at their own initiative, eager to make good by offering money back or a replacement. I needed the pump, and outside from the faulty overload sensor, the pump worked fine; I took the pump. The new one arrived and works beautifully. For me, when online everything is available, customer service is what sets a company apart. For me, it is unheard that a company reads your review, reaches out, and then actually wants to make good. Very impressive. Standing by your products matters more than anything else, for the customer knows they're covered. Thanks.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Pump has an overload sensor, should it overheat. On my pump, and in water with temps between 60 and 80 degrees, it shuts off all the time. It operates for a few minutes, shuts off for a few minutes, resets, and goes back on for a few minutes. Could be a faulty sensor. Could be just my pump. Why not send it back you ask? I found it’s float switch to make operation fussy and erratic as well, and I took it out. End ‘o warranty. I’ll give a go at removing the overload sensor, but me thinks getting at it likely...

vares8: The automatic switch does not function. The unit was fully submerged in rainwater multiple times. The pump did not turn on. I have to shake the unit to make it start. Useless for me.

Update:
Seems like I had a defective pump. It happens. Customer Support recently contacted me and sent me a replacement for the original. This time I tested the pump before installing. I put the pump in a barrel, then started filling with a garden hose. The pump turned on before being fully submerged and stopped with about 3 inches of water. Each time water level rose, it turned on. This pump works as promised. It moves water very quickly. It meets and exceeds my needs. Works as well or better than a pump costing twice as much. As such, I am revising my rating to 5 stars.
