GN Douglas: Great little pump. I actually use mine down a 8” sump pipe on my swimming pool, to stop water accumulation under my pool. So it’s outside and going on and off many times an hour during rainy days, but it works like a champ.

Kate: Bought on sale. Now November in Canada and still working well in our backyard pond.

R. JohnsonR. Johnson: After using this pump without issues for over a year it triggered the fuse. Long story short, I contacted customer service directly from their website and got a quick response. He asked me some questions to trouble shoot the issue and after providing him with the requested info, photos and video they sent me a brand new pump quickly. This is excellent customer service. I recommend this pump and company. Well done!!!

Donald Sutherland: It took 7 hrs to pump 9000 gallons.

ROB: It's a nice pump at a great price. Using for my pool. You need a better rope for setting it tends to lean to one side or the other while placing it on cover.

Canadian buyerCanadian buyer: In my first review, I mentioned that I ran a little test, pumping to a bucket using a short hose (so very little head). Using a stopwatch I estimated the rate to be around 4000 LTS/ hr, which is about 1/4 of the 4000 GPH they offer for the 1HP model.
I received a response from the vendor; they were very professional and asked about the outlet I was using for my test, because this could be the problem. At the beginning, I was skeptical, since the 1/2" hose I was using was very short (about 5ft). Well, after a simple calculation I realized that even for such a short length, the hose was producing around 11 psi of losses (25 ft of water), which put the rate exactly as advertised in their pump curve. So, I was wrong. Lesson learned: don't underestimate the impact the hose diameter will have on your pressure losses (and therefor on the resulting flow rate). If you want to take full advantage of the flow rate of this pump, use the largest possible hose diameter.

C. Gerber: I primarily use this to drain my 24’ above ground pool. Drains very quickly and efficiently. Also very quiet! Drained my pool down to about 2” in about 6 hours.

Easy to use, just plug it in, tip it sideways for about 15 seconds, then place in the water and it goes to work. It has a float, so it will shut off once the water is down to 2 inches.

James: Update. Seller reached out to me and sent a new replacement received in a few days.

Thanks you

Didn’t work
Out of true box only hmmmmm. Trying to find who I can email but no luck. This is junk. Would have liked a return but no seller details to get. Hold of. Needed another unit asap. Look around and spend a bit more money to get something that actually is tested and works

David Gonzalez: Not a good buy at all. Out of the box it worked OK. A month later it would stop working. Unplug it and let it sit. Eventually would kick on again. Haven’t used it in a month since then. Doesn’t even work at all. Worthless.

KonKal: UPDATED REVIEW: Below is my original review. The company read it and contacted me at their own initiative, eager to make good by offering money back or a replacement. I needed the pump, and outside from the faulty overload sensor, the pump worked fine; I took the pump. The new one arrived and works beautifully. For me, when online everything is available, customer service is what sets a company apart. For me, it is unheard that a company reads your review, reaches out, and then actually wants to make good. Very impressive. Standing by your products matters more than anything else, for the customer knows they're covered. Thanks.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Pump has an overload sensor, should it overheat. On my pump, and in water with temps between 60 and 80 degrees, it shuts off all the time. It operates for a few minutes, shuts off for a few minutes, resets, and goes back on for a few minutes. Could be a faulty sensor. Could be just my pump. Why not send it back you ask? I found it’s float switch to make operation fussy and erratic as well, and I took it out. End ‘o warranty. I’ll give a go at removing the overload sensor, but me thinks getting at it likely destroys the pump...
