barnesy: I was recommended this book by a friend. I laughed, cried and gasped whilst reading it. I would highly recommend

Nicole Wyatt: If you’re female, you should read this. If you need empowerment, you should read this. If you know nothing about how it feels to be discriminated, a minority, disabled, etc, you should read this!!! So we’ll written.

User: I really enjoyed reading. It was very insightful and I love the authors tone. I couldn’t put it down. Her way of wording things is so cut clear and spot on.

Jade: The book came in good quality. It’s very pretty, and wasn’t too badly priced for a hardback.

I liked the visuals, which probably aren’t for everyone as they’re a bit… unconventional? They had character though.

The contents of the book itself I’d give 3 or 4 stars out of 5. It’s nice, a decent introductory to feminism I suppose though the author is annoying, ignorant to the depths of her own social status and emotionally immature.

The book is hardly groundbreaking stuff (at all) unless you’re completely unfamiliar with the topic.

I’ve heard apparently the book’s a rip-off of a Black woman’s work too so… lmao, maybe grab a different book if you’re on the fence about it.

I don’t dislike it but I’m not sure if I’d recommend.

Sophie: One for everyone. Good read. Great perspective

Kayla: Although the writer is young and I have over a decade more experience… she spoke to me. Truthfully and painfully, about things I needed to hear. Things all women (AND MEN) need to hear. Must read.

Heather Hellkat: A must read! This book is a game changer and will completely alter how you view the world in the absolute best way.

mouse café (check out my book club on insta!): You know when you read a book and you can feel a part of you has changed for the better/you’ve learnt something extremely valuable that you’re not sure you would’ve gotten somewhere else? This is that book for me. I highly recommend. xx

AnnieGraceAnnieGrace: I cannot stress how much I loved this book!

A lot of what I read I’ve learned through lived experience and I can look back and remember exactly when and how I learned it. But how gentler it would’ve been to learn it from a book than from the world.

10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a fun, freeing, and fierce self help (ish) book full of color, casual narrative, illustrations, and insight that will make you relook at yourself and the world around you. She’s also extremely inclusive of all identities and communities - on the second page she mentions ableism and its impacts on society; as a full time wheelchair user, I was sold instantly.

In the wise words of Forence,
“Life is too short not to love the sh*t out of yourself! You are the love of your own life, so start acting accordingly.”
