We recently got a lot more fleas in the area that normal this year and my dogs started scratching, didn't take long to see the little critters and since they are inside house dogs, all the more reason to treat them quick, so I went and ordered this right away. Within a day of applying it my dogs stopped scratching, as always, I kept a look out in case of an adverse skin reaction as not all dogs are the same even with meds you know have worked before, but fortunately as always, no issues whatsoever.

Kim HoltgraveKim Holtgrave: I’ve used frontline for years and this time it did not work! Before I could get frontline on my white boxer she got a horrible case of fleas. So before I put on the frontline I gave her a bath with dawn dish soap “works great for killing flea “ so we got rid of what was on her wait for her to dry and then put frontline on her by that night she was cover in flea again. I gave it a couple of weeks too work it did not so I thought maybe be I did it wrong so repeat the process of bathing and waiting for her to dry and repeat the frontline same thing happened. So I read view and it seem some people are having trouble with frontline not working. Somebody recommended K9 Advantix so I did the same thing that did with the frontline, gave her bath wait for her to dry and than applied the K9 Advantix and it worked great haven’t seen a flea on her in over a week! It also protect against mosquitoes too frontline does not! Price is comparable to frontline.

A. Waldron: I recently moved from the cooler, mountainous region of SC to the warmer climate of middle GA to attend graduate school. I had been using Comfortis for two and half years on my dog, Fluke, without any problems. However, about two weeks ago, I felt a lump on her neck, and upon inspection, I discovered a tick. I began looking all over her body for more of these little pests, and found four more of them. Fortunately, Fluke is a rescue from a vet, and I don't have to bear the burden of expensive vet bills when something like this situation occurs. I was told that the Comfortis does not necessarily guard against ticks, and while it may have been effective in SC, the tick population in the heavily wooded river area in which I live now might be too much for the tablet to protect against for Fluke. I bought this product because it proffered to prevent ticks from attaching to the dog, and thus far, it has proven quite effective. Fluke, as her name suggests, is an unusual 25 pound lab/pit mixture. I purchased the product in the larger size because she is in between the medium and large dosing sizes, and I wanted to be sure that she had adequate protection. Fluke has been her usual happy...
