Joe C.: Qualità ottima del nastro. Ottima tenuta dell'adesivo e bella sensazione al tatto. Ottimo grip. Essendo bianco si sporca facilmente.

Grammar Guru: The presentation of this product doesn't clearly show all that comes with it. The black strip with the brand logo is a section of tape that seems to be fancy electrical tape. Folks who know how to wrap handlebars know what to do with this; it's essential.

There are also two pieces of the wrap about 3-4 inches long (I didn't measure) to use as padding in a sensitive spot. These are to be used around the brake lever support on drop bars, which I learned watching a YouTube video. I have straight bars so I used the strips as extra padding in another spot where I sometimes get sore hands.

In the center of each of the two rolls as they come in the package is a bar end plug. The two I got were different and neither fit. Minor issue in my case because I had others.

The tape has what appears to be a strip of gel material on the back that runs the entire length of the tape for extra cushioning. I didn't expect this and it is a real bonus. This gel has a sticky surface with a strip of thin plastic you peel off so that when you wrap the tape, it sticks better. This helps a great deal with keeping the tape from slipping and becoming uneven or loose from...

Ryan Bower: I like a rubbery fool-proof grip on my bikes. I came to road biking from mountain biking, and it was a natural fit to replace the not-grippy-enough stock bar tape on my road and cross bikes with LizardSkins the first time around. I didn't really like the bulk and the shininess of the LizardSkins wrap on my road bike, so I decided to give Fizik tape a try.

Out of the box, this tape *feels* similar to lizardskins in its tackiness -- clearly more sticky than cork or microtex. The finish is a more matte than other high-grip tapes though. It was also relatively easy to apply--the backing was not too sticky and the tape is reasonably flexible. I have already clipped my handlebars on a cement pillar and am pleased that the tape did not tear. It seems like it should hold up through a decent number of miles.

On the whole, this tape has a nice texture/grip and is a good value for the money. Only time will tell on durability, but so far, I am happy.

Some GuySome Guy: I got this tape in yellow, in the hopes that it would be more comfy than my cheap cork bar tape and not tear as easily. This has delivered on both criteria pretty easily.

The tape itself has a thinnish layer of foam on the underside, which has a sticky strip strip (not adhesive) down the middle to grip the bar while you wrap. This mean you just wrap the tape tight enough so that it doesn't move and you can undo and re-wrap if you miss a spot. There is a line sewn down off center on the tape which helps a lot to wrap it evenly. I probably wrapped mine too tightly, but there is no concern about ripping the tap while wrapping like there is with cork.

The tape is firm (not so much thin, though) and not cushy or gel-like. For me this is an advantage - on my other bike I have "gel" cork tape which is much cushier, but not more comfortable for me. The longest ride I've ridden on this tape is 105 miles, at around 5 hours and I did not feel discomfort in my hands. I normally wear gloves and the grip of the tape is sure in light rain and somewhat sweaty gloves. I haven't used this is in the heavy rain, or with gloveless and very sweaty hands so I...
