Derek Bradley: Don't have it long enough to be able to look at long term trends, but it does what you expect it to do. The app is fine, lacks features and one of the menu items just shows a blank screen, but it does let you look at individual measurements and plot trends. The scales itself is nice and sleek in design, quite light and nicely finished in black and grey. As for accuracy, smart scales in general are not expected to be very accurate (even the more expensive ones) and can be impacted by many things such as hydration level, how active you've been directly prior to taking measurements, and the time of the day measurements are taken. However, it does appear to be precise, and so even where accuracy might be lacking for things such as muscle mass and BMI, you could most likely rely on the trends over time for these measurements to determine if they are increasing or decreasing. Overall, very happy with the product, would recommend you buy this one over some of the other more expensive ones that will do the exact same thing - in fact, many of these contain the same electronic components and technology, irrespective of manufacturer of the scales, so why pay more for a high-brand name!

Ben Murray: I’ve really been focusing on my weight training since last year, and this scale has been pretty instrumental in helping me reach my goals. I’ve been using the scale mainly to track changes in my weight along with the body fat measurement, but the other metrics are great to have to reference as well (water %, muscle mass, etc.) I’ve also had the DEXA scan done, and this scale was pretty darn close in numbers.
The app is very easy to set up and use, and over time allows you to see the trends for multiple metrics. It definitely helps keep me motivated when I can look and see the weight graph decline over time. It also syncs seamlessly with the Apple Health app in case you reference that dashboard/app more frequently.
I believe someone had mentioned it before, but the only recommendation I have within the app is to add a daily notes section, just in case you want to track refeeds and be able to monitor how that affects your weight etc. It would be very helpful, and also prevent the user from getting discouraged because they could remember that on that day they had a big meal or carbo loaded.

T. JT. J: Purchased FITINDEX because a friend was raving about how it helped her be consistent in tracking her fitness journey. I have had the Ozeri scale for years, which is great for tracking weight, muscle, water, and bone - but all data is stored on the scale, no capabilities yet to sync to phone / health apps.

I have been using FITINDEX for the past week and am overall very pleased with it. I had one initial hiccup when first setting up the app, I chose “Athlete” mode, because you know :) , I workout 3-5 times a week. The results for metrics like Body Fat % were way too generous. I had an InBody Scan at my gym recently, so knew with some certainty where my biometrics stood. I emailed Support and got a timely response. Unless you are working out more than 8 hrs a week and have a resting heart rate below 60bpm, Athlete mode should be off. After I adjusted that setting, the metrics were significantly closer to my last InBody Scan, which was reassuring as to the scale's level of accuracy.

I sync FITINDEX to Apple Health, which feeds to my other apps like Fitness Pal and Zero (for fast tracking). I look forward to seeing that trend line over the next month - so far this...

FSSFSS: I purchased the FITINDEX Smart Body Fat Scale BMI Scale Bathroom Digital Weight Wireless Scale so that I could conveniently keep track of my weight, BMI and other body composition metrics. I received the scale within two days of ordering and it came well-packaged with the scale, batteries, and a small instruction pamphlet included in the box. There was also an insert from the seller to contact them if there were any issues or questions which I thought was a nice gesture in providing excellent customer service to the purchaser.

The scale is made mostly of glass and is smaller than I expected. I inserted the batteries, which was all I really needed to do to get the scale up and ready to use. I also downloaded the FITINDEX app to my iPhone and followed the instructions in the pamphlet on how to pair the scale with the FITINDEX app. It was fairly easy to do except for one thing that may be confusing in that the instruction pamphlet instructs you to select device ES-26M, but the actual device that appears to be synching with the app is FT-24D. Not a real problem for me as I selected the FT-24D device and it paired as expected.
