Mariah Paez: Love that you can put this on the side of the toilet so it’s not in a cupboard or on the floor

Ashley Nicole: I bought this potty for my son who is just starting potty training (he is 2.5) but quite tall. I didn't want to spend money on the portable potties, knowing I would have to transition to the big toilet anyway. The seat is easy to use, it grips to the toilet seat so it doesn't shift, and the front is quite high so the pee doesn't spray everywhere. Even my son can put it on the toilet properly and get on by himself.
A friend of mine who is done potty training her kids, generously gave me, two portable potties (A Fisher Price Monster potty and a baby Bjorn potty), as well as a simple toilet ring. Well, my son was too big for the potties. When he sat on them, his penis was at the same level as the top of the potty pee guard- luckily he never peed in it as it would have gone everywhere. Today (May 22), I used the cheap plastic ring for the second bathroom for the first time - pee went EVERYWHERE. It leaked under the seat all over the toilet, it sprayed on the floor, and sprayed all over the door. I had to hold my hand in his pee in order to make sure it would drip into the toilet and to avoid it going everywhere else. I immediately threw out the cheap plastic one and purchased...

Cole & Lee: I was torn between this potty seat and the Munchkin potty seat; the Munchkin has slightly better reviews, but it doesn’t have a backrest for a smaller child to lean against, so we went with this one.
The back rest has been a very useful feature, as my 18-month-old daughter is taller and thin. I think the handles on the side combined with the back rest make her feel more secure, especially if she’s reading.
My daughter hasn’t made any major messes, so the seat has been easy to clean, but I was concerned about all the nooks and crannies on the underside of the seat. Again, it’s been fine for me, but I wish there wasn’t so much going on down there that would need to be cleaned if there’s any splashing from the toilet upward.
I was also tempted to purchase the Munchkin potty seat because it looks easier for a small child to lift off and place on the toilet themselves. My daughter occasionally can get this one off the hook, but since she’s only 18 months old, it will probably be easier by the time she’s two and going potty on her own. She’ll still need help placing it on the toilet because of how the handle works, but I guess it seems worth it to...

NA: I usually don't write reviews but I felt it was necessary since I have been looking for a potty and or potty seat for my kids for some time now. I purchased two potties, a seat and a seat with a ladder. The potties were ok but not really working for my son. He has special needs and is four years old. The potty is a bit small for him so I wanted something to use on our toilet. The seat with the ladder was the worst purchase ever and I would not recommend those to anyone. They don't sit properly and pinched my daughters leg. Another seat we purchased was very small and moved around so much I thought they would fall off the toilet. I figured I would give this seat a try because many of the reviews were so positive and mentioned how it does not slip or move around. Well they were 100% right and it is worth every penny. I have an oblong seat and it fits perfect, doesn't move a bit. My son can sit on the seat, hold the sides and feels very comfortable with it. He even sits without me having to hold him in place and he does not freak out because he feels safe and secure. Another key point to make is the pee guard for him is the best. It is high enough so he doesn't pee all over and its...

AB: The pee guard in the front works well, but it leaks underneath. Not ideal.
