Faraday: We decided to keep an indoor cat with opportunities to go outside. Hence the harness. Upon receipt, everything looked good. Bright colors to choose from, great fit, good mobility.
But, after two months the velcro wore out. It started with just certain areas so we would just move point of contact to get a better grip. Currently, there is no velcro hold. It just slides around. I'm currently looking for another but don't want this to happen again.

Lora: I LOVE this harness! I have bought one in each size from XS to XL - the comfort and movability is amazing. The velcro used is super strong plus there is a little snap and hook too just for extra safety. The harness comes with its own matching leash which is of strong durable quality as well. All the colors I have bought have been exactly as shown - beautiful.
The XL is for my 16 pound cat and it fits perfectly AND it is the only harness that I have found that he will tolerate (not that he wants it on but...) and not get out of quickly. He has yet to escape.

Hiker JillHiker Jill: The cat has wriggled out of it twice. I feel like I need to tighten it more than seems comfortable to him, in order for it to be un-escapable. I like to be able to fit two fingers inside the harness by his rib cage so that he can move without discomfort, but it needs to be more snug if I don’t want him pulling it off himself.

Because it’s more surface area on his chest, he dislikes it more than he did his old one (which was the classic style with just straps).

The hardware is surprisingly decent, for this price. And he walks well on it outside, just hates wearing it when we’re working on training indoors.

I ordered a few at the same time to try, and this was the one that fit him best and didn’t arrive damaged.

For reference, he’s 18 pounds. 12” neck, 19” tummy, I ordered him XL.

MiaMommy: This quickly became my fluffy boy’s favorite harness. He’s got some long fur, so he appreciates the breathable fabric. At first I thought it was going to be too small, but the Velcro makes it easily adjustable. I still sort of wish I had sized up cause he’s still going to grow a bit, he’s in an awkward phase. I have mixed feelings about the Velcro, it’s not as offensive as Velcro usually is, texture wise, and could maybe be a little stronger. But it works just fine. But the more I think about it, the more I feel like it’s a fail safe, in case they somehow get away and get caught on something they can break away if they fight hard enough. And honestly, I’ve bought much worse for twice as much. It’s a good buy.

UPDATE: I went ahead and bought another one in the next size up. And it fits him a little loosely, enough that he can actually slip out if he panics. But that Velcro… let me tell ya, with full contact that Velcro is NOT coming undone.
So, between the 2 sizes, medium and large, I WANT to use the large because it seems more comfortable, but should probably continue to use the medium until he grows a little more.
