Farnam Tri-Tec 14 Fly Repellent Spray for Horse Protection

KH. Gabriel: This fly spray is the best and only thing that works to keep the flies and gnats off my horse honestly. I have tried almost everything else I could get my hands on and for less money but if it doesnt work its a waste of money. This works. Truly works and here in Hawaii nothing lasts as long as its meant to so it says 14 days but it will last about a week or so during good days. Of course weather permitting when it gets humid muggy and rainy, I have to apply more often. This works for my horse and anyone who has tried it ends up getting it themselves. It is a bit more pricey than others on the market but like I said, those dont work for me and this does. Period. Worth every penny.

Ranger Joe: I've tried dozens of brands and nothing works as well as Tri-Tec 14. Some horses seem to object to the scent, others (most) are okay with it. Despite the advertised duration of protection, 14 days is a ludicrous exaggeration. For indoor stabled horses, 2~3 days is the max duration of protection (versus 1 day or less for other brands). For outdoor kept horses, I have to apply a light spray every day. I spray my hand and wipe their ears, cheeks, and forehead to provide face protection before putting on their fly masks.

M. M. Burn: I've used several different brands of fly spray. None of them last as long as they say they do. And this brand is more expensive than most. But, this one smells so much better than the others, I pay the extra money.
