The Farberware Professional FMO12AHTBKE 1.2 Cu. Ft. 1100-Watt Microwave Oven is a top-of-the-line countertop appliance. It features a sleek brushed stainless steel design, LED lighting, and Smart Sensor Cooking technology. Not only does this microwave have a large interior capacity, but it is also incredibly easy to use with dedicated buttons for different functions and an easy-to-read LED display that shows the status of cooking. With its combination of design, size, build quality, controls, and functionality, the Farberware Professional FMO12AHTBKE 1.2 Cu. Ft.Kathy: Works great! It’s powerful and fits great on my countertop. The only drawback is that it needs space around it for venting. It has vents on the top and both sides. I have to slide it to the edge of my counter so there is enough clearance because of my cupboards.

Cheryl L Muno: The Farberware microwave arrived yesterday and I am extremely pleased with it. As a personal preference, I like white appliances and generally avoid stainless steel, but white appliances are getting more difficult to find.
I was in the market to replace my old appliance that was beginning to have issues with not always starting. My criteria was 1) must be white, 2) 1000 watts of power or more, 3) small footprint because I don't live in a McMansion. With those criteria in mind, I set out on my search. A took a trip to the local big-box W-Mart and was exceedingly disappointed in the options. This trip was a reminder why I avoid shopping there. I turned to an online search and, well, the current microwave items available are.... ok. I was beginning to despair when I stumbled across this Farberware microwave. Yes, it does have a stainless top and sides, but the front white door coupled with the stainless handle actually look a bit sleek. The cooking options and power wattage were acceptable so I took the plunge.
The microwave arrived yesterday and even with the stainless steel (ugh!), the microwave looks very nice. I've used it a few times and am pleased with the...

LCC: First of all, it's not 1100 watts. The manual that came with it says it's 1000 watts. Also, inside the door it says 1000 watts. I still like it though. At full power, it heats very fast. Doesn't take up too much space, making it perfect for a small kitchen. Well designed, easy to use keypad.

CGB: I've had this microwave for 3 years and it still works great. It cooks fast since it's 1100 watts. The only complaint is that it's a bit loud. It cooks fast, so it needs to keep the unit cool, which is probably explains the extra fan noise. It's not a deal breaker for me. I only paid about $100. for it and recently purchased it again for a spec home at $130.. IMHO, it's a good buy for the money.
