TheSilentTrendTheSilentTrend: This belt was packaged well and offers an attractive yet simple design. Vibrant colors and made of durable material, it is easy to adjust to your size. Be aware that it doesn't fit all belt loops but can be finagled to fit. I've owned Fairwin belts in the past and the clasping mechanism on this is different that's what I'm used to - it's more of a pulling action than a pushing action and can be counterintuitive to begin with. However, with practice, it becomes second nature.

KCollins: First and foremost, beyond the hype of being “tactical” and all that, this is a belt and, as such, it rates very highly for holding up my pants. You can adjust it to exactly whatever length you need and it will hold that length for as long as you need. In short: a very nice and effective belt.

I have purchased these belts four times and now have 2 (two) in black, 1 (one) in coffee and 1 (one) in brown. Needless to say, I like this belt a lot. Not a single complaint.

Well, maybe I shouldn’t say “not a single complaint” but maybe it’s not really a complaint, just a confusing point from the description page on Amazon. If you look at the Q&A section, you’ll see lots of responses which indicate that you’ll receive 2 (two) belts per order. However, if you look at the reviews, most, if not all, of them are only referring to 1 (one) belt. With each of my orders, I only received 1 (one) belt – which is still a great deal at the very low ($12.99 at the time of this review) asking price.

I really don’t know what makes a belt “tactical” but I can tell you that this one is easy to size with its open buckle and grab teeth design. The metal buckle...

I saw some people having issues with quality but I think that this company is on it and fixes those issued when people complain. First the $14 belt came in a pretty nice box and packaged very nice. I had more expensive belts come in just a wrapper or nothing at all. The belt it's pretty nicely stiff and holds up 3 of my gun holsters and guns without to much sag which is what I wanted. The buckle is of heavy metal. What I noticed right away with the buckel is it didn't seem to big, that it would prevent it from being able to fit through your Jean loops. So I stuck it through the loops of my American eagle jeans without any problems. Maybe I got lucky and have bigger loops on these pants. And if thats the case I'll be buying more. But just buy looking at it, the buckel seems small enough to fit and it did. ( btw the company tells you,that you won't be able to fit it. As of today, it did fit atleast one pair of jeans. I haven't tried another's. The quality of the belt seems and feels really good. And...

djwilliamson: When I run or workout I prefer to wear shorts with a belt rather than an elastic or draw string waistband. This belt wand the plastic buckle is practically weightless and so low profile you forget it's there. It doesn't get in the way at all or impede my movement. It is also stiff enough and the buckle holds tightly enough that I can clip things to it securely if I choose to, ie. phone, ipod, etc. It seems durable enough buy only time will tell if the buckle will hold up. For the price if I can get one season out of it I will be satisfied.

Keith Onderisin: This belt is great. Reliable, and rugged. I needed something adjustable especially as I was starting to gain some weight on my waist due to working out and eating more, and since I slimmed down again. It has been working great for days on top of days. It's even been accidentally burned and still holds up fine. Would recommend this belt for any one that needs a rugged, durable adjustable belt. Maybe not the most stylish, but function is great. When I initially purchased it I had to cut the length down, but that was very straightforward. I have heard of people taking a lighter to melt the fibers at the snipped edge to ensure no fibers pull out of the belt fabric. I never did that and have had 0 issues with fibers being pulled out.

There have been 2 times that I can count where I the actual clasp has come undone and you need to re-clamp it on the belt strap, but those times have been rare. I've probably given this belt more issues than it has me!

Dave: I like this type of buckle for it's ease of adjustment and security. I also find it more comfortable to wear than a traditional type of belt buckle, which often has sharp edges/corners and can pinch in the belly when bending over or squatting down.

I was hoping that this belt would not slip once adjusted but I'm not entirely convinced that is the case. After wearing it for a few hours doing a multitude of tasks it often seem to have more slack than it did at the start of the day.

I have also had the buckle release unintentionally on two occasions. This happens when kneeling or bending over and one release lever gets pushed by the fly/zipper on my jeans while the other lever seems to get pushed by the button on the jeans. I have a Raptor II buckle that is similar in appearance to this buckle but upon close examination there are some design differences that I believe would preclude accidental release. For one thing, the release levers take more pressure and they are also recessed more in to the body of the buckle.

I bought the Raptor II to use on a knife/equipment sling using 1" webbing, but I may make a 1" webbing belt to try it around my waist first to see if...
