Fairwin Men's Ratchet Web Belt with Sliding Buckle and Adjustable Fit

Eric: I used to wear braided belts, but I've found it is hard to find good quality ones. And even the good wears start to show serious wear with in a year. I've switched over to these ratcheting web belts. I've actually bought three of this model now. Got two. Had them for a few months. Liked them enough that I recently bought a third color. With a few months of wear, they still look new. They are relatively easy to use. Slightly more work than a standard belt, but not so much it makes a difference. Since the closure mechanism engages the entire width of the belt, the belt doesn't bend over, but stays upright.

The only downside is that the latching mechanism is a bit thicker on end of the buckle so the buckle does not lay perfectly flat. But that is a relatively minor point.

I haven't tried any of the other web belts available, but don't feel a need to do so. These check all my boxes at a reasonable price.

Trudy: Update: My husband got it on but liked to never figured out how to undo it, but after a few tries he got it figured out.
Seems to be a really durable belt, and no bulky buckle poking his stomach, working bent over a lot caused a sore from big belt buckles. It's thinner than most melts so that makes a bit more comfortable as well. Not sure about durability until he wears it working.

Andres Alejandro: I had seen this belt being advertised a while back and decided to bite the bullet and purchase one. This is my favorite style of belt, coming from somebody who was used to traditional leather belts that would wear out over time, this one is great and stylish while being easy to attach/detach. My only wish is that I had tried them out sooner lol. Will be purchasing another color in the future. Can't go wrong with these belts

Rick Rathman: This is my 2nd ratcheting belt, I really don't know why anyone would be still wearing belts with the holes, ever have to struggle to the next hole because the one before it is too loose, ever have the holes tear, ever had to make a new hole because you're tired of being in between, or because you lost weight, man, a ratcheting belt doesn't have any of those issues, it's easier to buckle back up, it's faster to buckle up, it's a cleaner look, without that steel prong sticking through a hole, it's so much easier to sinch it down if you like to have it tight, a regular belt you have to pull against the buckle against your motion, these belts you pull with the motion, I'll never buy a out dated regular belt again, this is one of the rare times they actually improved immensely on a design thats been around forever.
Definitely recommend, if you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

LS: Got this for my husband to replace a worn out military belt. The belt seems to be high quality material and it works like it's supposed to, all the stitching is strong. He is used to the style that has the extra length on the outside so you pull it to tighten but with this one you push it into the buckle instead. It fits thru his uniform cargo pants belt loops fine. But he said it's a little harder to get his fingers between the the pants and the belt to adjust it. The buckle also opens different, and he says the buckle doesn't poke his stomach like the last one we tried since it is slightly narrower. Although he says it's a matter of changing his habit, takes a little more effort to adjust, that he will continue to use it because it does a good job of holding his pants up , doesnt slip loose, and that was the goal. Overall a good belt. The buckle works well and it does look nice, very sturdy, the belt is also a thick strap, should last. Hope this helps.

Amazon Customer: This is an excellent belt except that the black powder coating on the buckle scratches very easily. I have been very careful with this belt as it's an expensive product but despite this the buckle has scratched which I believe for such a product should not happen. As the buckle is very visible and the product is designed for very practical use this should not happen. Replacing the buckle would be difficult so a replacement of the whole belt would be required to fix the problem. I would like a comment from the manufacturer please. Thank you, Mike.

Amazon Customer: Great belt. would suggest ordering a belt 2" larger than your actual waist measurement. Otherwise there isn't much room for the overlap behind the buckle.

Jonathan Dixon: If you're looking for a belt, congrats, you found one. At first I'm not sure what to review but then I remembered a really cheap $5 belt I bought a little while ago. It turned out to be made from compressed cardboard... So with that thought in mind. This belt is really well made. The material is sturdy and while I won't test it I wouldn't be surprised if I could use it to tow my car. The buckle is solid and really holds the position. It's really easy to put on and is quite comfy. It's a little big for me though, but I knew that would be when I bought it and will at some stage shorten it, but even then it fits around the waste so comfy and tucks away that I don't even notice. At the end of the day, it's a belt and does a good job of keeping my pants from fraternizing with my ankles.
