Fahren LED Headlight Bulbs Combo - 9006/HB4 Low Beam & 9005/HB3 High Beam - Bright & Powerful

Bugs bunny: Very pleased...light went out on a Friday morning. And I had to work early during the weekend was praying it would be in before Monday just in case. It showed up by 3 pm Saturday allowing me to go in early Sunday with get pulled over. Excellent light projection and got passed by a cop without harassment. I'm very pleased direct replacement on 4runner plenty of room for driver to fit in housing with with weather seal closed.

JLM: Just got them so this is my initial review which may change with use. They were easy to install. I had to flip one around because it was apparently connected to the power backwards and despite both sides being the same it does apparently matter. No real issue just switch it and it worked. It includes zip ties and double sided sticky pad to keep the attached dongle in place. I had to use the sticky pad because I had no obvious place to tie it down. Not sure how long it will stick and may have to figure something else out (duct tape will likely be involved). It is a very pure white light and will have to see how it functions when it is dark and raining. But as I said so far so good.

Sonny D: So I believe it’s because of the Driver you need to use with these lights. Their term not mine. The Driver is to help with the voltage that these lights draw, like a mini transformer. But my lights pulsate when they are on. When I am at a Stop light/sign I notice it the Most. I’ve had them installed for about a month now and although it is less noticeable, it’s still there.
These lights are Bright!! HUGE difference from the original ones. Well worth the money. With My vehicle it was a difficult install. I had to take down the front clip, alittle time consuming, and Locking ring was Not easy to lock. The end of the bulb is somewhat small when trying to get it into the headlight housing. Not exactly made for big hands, especially in tight areas. The Driver Does have heat to it, not burning, but warm. So do not attach it to the light wiring. Felt it after an hour drive on a mild evening, approximately 55 degrees out, and it had noticeable warmth to it. Again not burning.

MJ: Shipment was fast for this item. Easy to install in my Honda civic car, white lights coming from the low beam is decently good, I usually have a hard time driving at night but when I change to this light my driving at night I can see better. The high beam of this is pretty good as well, very bright. Overall an amazing purchase.

Sean M.Sean M.: Well, here is the situation. I purchased the correct LED headlights ( H13/9008 LED )for my 2008 Hummer H3 and the connectors will not couple.(Ive included pictures of both the LED connector and My H3's. The tag on the Fahren light ..says contact us..I did that a week ago. It kind of sucks I purchased Headlights, Foglights and Canbus decoders, that I may not need from this company. You,d think someone would be monitoring support issues.
I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The product is good, once you get it connected. Do NOT rely on Customer support by Fahren , they just replied to me ...3 days after I figured it out. The fix...the connectors are not built to a tight tollerence. The manufacturer made the male housing coming off the canbus too thick, so the female connector from a Hummer doesnt fit. I purchased a set of canbus decoders from a completley different company with better connectors. The decoder connections fit both the LED lights and the Hummer connection...boom, bright LED lights..In my opinion, there was way too much work/ research and extra purchase for something sold as "plug and play".

Ted Zoromski: So I bought these without looking at the actual reviews, so now I'm wondering if I made a huge mistake? I didn't want to spend hundreds on LED headlights like other manufacturers wanted. I have a 2016 Ford Transit connect XLT. Had an aftermarket HID system installed, wanted to replace because LED headlights are supposed to be brighter. You WILL need to adjust the lock ring so the LEDs are facing 9 and 3. The LEDs need to be facing outwards, not up and down. The drivers(the bulky unit) needs to be OUTSIDE your headlight housing. You might need to secure the drivers using the included double-sided tape or zip ties so they're not loose. I have NO FAULTS so far, but I just installed them. They look bright but will need to drive at night to see for sure. I'll update my review as I use them. The seals on them were tight fitting, you'll have to push in and turn to secure the headlights. They do have a second pair of seals which may be slimmer, I just didn't try them. I purchased these based on the 4.5 star reading, I didn't read the recent reviews, so now I wait and see if they last. Oh yeah, you go register the headlights on their site, and you'll have a 2 yr warranty. We shall see.

- I chose the 9005/9006 option.
- Installed on (2015) 9th gen Honda Civic sedan stock reflector headlights.

Packaging:
- Wrapped in cellophane
- Good, sturdy carboard box
- Lined with open cell foam

What's in the box:
- Four (4) 9005/HB3 bulbs. (as indicated by the sticker on the bottom of the box)
- Instruction booklet
- Two (2) Allen keys*
- Four (4) O-rings*
- Seven (7) zip-ties*
- Four (4) double-sided adhesive pads*
(*packed inside a black plastic zip bag)

Construction:
- Lightweight and rigid
- The CAN bus decoder module is housed in a metal enclosure, filled with water-resistant potting material.

Testing:
- 24-25W @ 10.2-14.8V. Light was super bright & fan is at full speed.
- 7.5- 8W @ 9.00V . Light was less intense & fan is still full speed.
- < 0.3W @ 6.00V. The LED chip was OFF but the fan was at low speed.
- The fan is SUPER quiet from 1ft. away at full speed!
- (didn't test 16-32V, I was focused on passenger vehicle battery/alternator voltages)

Frank B.: Many halogen replacement bulbs do not have the same physical size light emitter as the halogen bulb that they replace. This means that the beam pattern on the road will be all wrong. These bulbs do have the correct shaped emitter.

These bulbs do not work well, however, on our 2006 Saturn Vue during daylight running. Be aware that many vehicles that require daylight running lamps do so by reducing the brightness of the headlight. LED lamps cannot be reduced in brightness. They either turn on, or turn off. On vehicles using reduced brightness headlamps (like our Saturn), they either don't work at all, or flash on and off during daylight running mode.

Our 2006 GMC pickup has separate daylight running lamps, as does our Dodge caravan. They will work well on either of those vehicles.

There is apparently something else one can buy to fix the flashing headlight problem that we have with our 2006 Saturn. So far, I haven't bothered. I just turn the headlights on manually during the day, and then turn them off when I get to my destination.

Installation instructions don't appear to match the situation with our 4-lamp Saturn. The bulbs have a different sized shaft...
