Cliente Amazon: A tour de force - like bitcoin - to show that our monetary and financial systems are rotten. It doesn't enter into deeper bitcoin terminology and dynamics in a theoretical world (for this see Cyrptoeconomics by Erick Voskuil) but here in Thank God For Bitcoin, one can learn why even God would not approve our current money world. Bitcoin may be a solution to be researched upon.

J. Clifford: Why is Bitcoin superior to Fiat Money? Read this book to evaluate both from a Biblical perspective and come to the same conclusion millions of Bitcoiners around the world have come to. 1) The Fiat monetary system is corrupt. 2) Bitcoin is a pure monetary system based on math and code. This is why Bitcoin better represents what the Bible teaches about money.

Chris Woodard: The book starts out strong but hits the apex of its argument early - about halfway through, the book starts to sound like a broken record of "inflation is theft" and blaming the government for virtually everything.
Chapter 2 was the clearest explanation of how the modern banking system evolved I've ever read, even simpler and clearer than heavyhitters like Thomas Sowell or Henry Hazlitt. It walks you step by step from qualities that make a money "sound" to why we have banks in the first place, then why we have central banks and the Federal Reserve that exists today. If the rest of the book were like this chapter, I'd give it 5 stars.
As a Christian, I was excited about the chapter about how money printing and Bitcoin affect the church, but that chapter was disappointing. It makes the argument that because churches can take out loans, which contributes to the problem of money printing by banks, they are complicit and the greed espoused by banks is supposedly shared by the church, drawing church activities away from sharing the Gospel to figuring out how to pay for the new expensive building loan. I believe that churches prioritizing buildings and flashy external...

Darryl Burling: I recently came across bitcoin and crypto currencies, and have been reading around economics and money ethics since then. I first learned about this book listening to a podcast in which a couple of the authors of this book were interviewed.
This book does a good job of explaining some of the key themes related to bitcoin and our fiat money system today. Key issues such as the ethics of inflation are well covered, as are the benefits of bitcoin by contrast to fiat currencies. There are also some excellent and thought provoking additions in this book, which I personally benefited from, such as the impact of fiat currency on the church and for Christian living generally. So, there are many positives to commend this book.
Having said that, it seems clear to me (I have a theological PhD) that while the authors quote scripture throughout, and there is a surprisingly clear focus on personal holiness, the authors are not making a theological argument as much as an ethical one. This isn’t really a big detractor, but as a book for Christians, it is worth noting that if you’re looking for a theological treatise on money, this probably isn’t it. For this reason, it may not...

Wayne Z.: You won't read the words "crypto" or "bitcoin" until you're 2/3 of the way thru the book. That's because understanding the fatal flaws of our modern made-up moneys is crucial to understanding the lies we've been told about the value of our decree currencies. And that understanding requires a few selected history lessons.
Gold bugs have long understood the problem, but their commodity was marginalized and made irrelevant as a possible currency standard by the likes of FDR and Nixon. Yes, those 20 shiny 1-ounce coins will buy you a new car today, just like they did in 1938, but gold has problems that make it unfit to rule in a digital age.
It took governments thousands of years to silence the voice of gold as a revealer of their cheating and theft. But they did it. Now comes an honest money they cannot censor or manipulate. It is not yet fully mature, but their Monopoly Money is rapidly being debased by debt and asset-inflation. So even though Bitcoin won't be a teenager until 2022, it is becoming clear that this leading light of crypto currencies is heir-apparent to the honest-money throne.
And y'know what? Governments have screwed up their moneys so badly that...

Green: Gods people have a responsibility to use honest money. #Bitcoin provides a way for us to do that.
I loved the book, it stirred deep thought with every page.
Throughly recommending to other Christians also.
