Jess: The book is a book. It's fine. Here's my issue though. I collect books, yes, even my texts. I'm on of *those* people. I realize how annoying some people find this. I ordered a new copy to avoid tears, stains, marks, etc. on my book. When I received it, however, it had a sticker on the spine and a LARGE (about 1/4 of the cover) sticker on the back. Upon trying to remove these, the spine is left with a sticky residue. I can either put chemicals on it to remove it and risk damaging the cover, or let it collect gunk for the next five years. The sticker on the back cover ripped some of the illustration off with it. Does it affect the contents of the book? No. Am I annoyed that such large, seemingly needless stickers were used and resulted in book damage? Yes. If that won't bother you, then this book would be perfect. Enjoy!
