I have bought this book 3 times now. One for each of my children and one for my sister and her family. I am most likely going to purchase a 4th for a baby gift. What precious and priceless gift to pass onto generations of their heritage and family history.
Easy to fill out, I almost wish it have more areas for photos and writing but I write ALOT.

In 2019, my parents downsized by nearly 1,000 sq. feet & had to decide what to do with 5 bedrooms, 3 garages, & 30 years worth of belongings (many of which had been left behind by their adult children)! After the move, my mom started going through all the photo albums/pictures in an attempt to bring some kind of order to the chaos. The further back we went, the more difficult it was for her to recall specific names & where they fit within the family. I gave her this book for Christmas 2021 & she was absolutely thrilled!!! It provides the perfect framework for her to record several generations of our family history, going back several generations...

This book is a nice book especially when you are starting out on writing down your family tree. What I did notice is that this is only made for a couple who have started their family and then you add the grandparents and the great grandparents on both sides. You can add up to 8 maybe 9 great grandparents. So for only the immediate family. What you can't put on here is siblings(unless its your own children) cousins, aunts, and uncles. I'm definitely still keeping it and to fill but I'm definitely going to need to buy another one that I can add extended members of my family. This is a good gift for parents who are expecting a child or already have a few. Nice cover and sturdy.

writing messages information about our family so that your children and grandchildren can read on special occasions or when ever they want to and can have this forever who they are and connected to, we recently lost my husband so it would have been good to get more stories of him and write them down but things happened quickly not enough time as we recently found out his dad was not his biological father

This is a very fine Family Tree book but it wasn't what I was looking for. It will be ideal when my family tree research is complete so that I can have all the information in a stylish book. What I wanted was a system of note pages to fill in as my research was progressing. Subsequently I have found the note taking pages I was looking for and I look forward to putting all the information in my Family Tree book for posterity
