SHATOMA: After reading this, I feel there was so much taken out of the bible that shouldn't have been. Especially Adam and Eve and all the trials and tribulations they went through. I think it should have been left in, and not randomly taken out assuming we didn't need to know.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  There is so much knowledge to be soaked up in this book. And whatever knowledge you consume, you were meant to spread.

We have to share with the world the things that they did not want us to know. We are so much more powerful than we are led to believe. God is within each and every one of us.

So stop allowing yourself to be so distracted by your phones and your binging TV series and pick up a book and educate yourself. This would be a great place to start.

Sandy DeLoach: Our beloved Bible is authentic in explanation, details, facts and things often thought had more information. I am comparing it with my regular (66-book Bible) and does give answers that aren't radical or opposing but helpful! It is a big book, small font, but with proper lighting find no problem reading it. Enjoying the introduction history to verify books, interesting and thoughtful pondering comparison with regular Bible. If you're a researcher, love detail, and yes time, this book will be a treasure over time. So far it is with me, use to own a Christian bookstore, and realize the necessity of accuracy, with this new addition it is important to me to know I'm reading what was written for the Church. Enjoy!

P W: Before purchasing this book, you must realize that the title is kind of false advertising. These are not "lost books" of the bible, they were never seriously considered by any of those who were with the apostles or succeeded from the apostles, with a few exceptions. At best, there are some good works of literature in here (that should not seriously be considered), at worse they are at contention with the truth. The layout of the book could be better.

Amazon Customer: Like the Book of Enoch and the fallen angels, the Books of Adam & Eve provides a wealth of context and revealing information regarding their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. What I am discovering is that what is in the Bible is only a short essential version of greater and much more expansive versions.

EllaElla: I only read the first book of Adam and Eve. About this first one, I can say it's easy to understand why it's out of the Bible - it's poorly written. As the author pointed out, this book of Adam and Eve has many references to try to connect with the Messiah and some mistakes like for example when Eve says that outside of Paradise she cannot make bread (when did she learn to make bread while in Paradise?!) Of course, it's not the Lumpkin's fault, this book only collects these ancient writings.

The idea of ​​the book bringing together all these writings is so good and deserved a better edition. Yellow paper, maybe hard cover, softer binding and larger font. Reading this book is like reading a drug leaflet because the font is so small. I also wish there were more author's notes, but the ones there are are good.
