S. Mathis: Hunting for a Highlander was my favorite thus far in the series. All the books in this series have been beautiful written but this one was outstanding. I just immediately connected with Dwyn!

Linda Pinkerton: I can read these books on my kindle. The series has love, families, hate that revaluation

JWN: I really liked this book and can absolutely see me reading it again.
This book caught my attention right from the beginning and held on to it until the very end. I was interested and rooting for Dwyn and Geordie right from the beginning. She is such an interesting character. I like that she is down to earth and honest with how she sees things and feels about things. She’s straightforward, smart and courageous. I like how she is able to save herself when needed. Geordie is very sweet to her, and I loved watching their relationship grow, I also like there’s strong chemistry, which was there right from the start
The plot was also very interesting. It developed very well and had me wondering who the bad guy is. There were several good twists at the end. This is one of my favorite books in the series and I recommend it.

Carol: Two great characters give the reader another excellent tale in the Buchanan Brothers series.
It’s a lovely romance that starts off on a tree! The humour and fun is over-shadowed by dark deeds. Will you guess who the culprit is?
Lots to live about this one.

Sue: I realize this is like book 7 or something on a series, but I figured it'd be ok. On that aspect, sure, it was fine, however, I honestly thought I could have done without a big ol' chunk of this book.

Her boobs and nips are the main part of the show for at least the first 1/2 of the book. She seemed like a great character but good gracious, all the author gave her was a boob show. So, finally we move past the boobs and what do we get? She's injured. Then she's poisoned. Then HE is the on the injured. Twice. Then she gets injured again. It's over 300 pages of telling and re telling of things that have happened. It's over 300 pages of them being injured over and over. I honestly really liked the female character, the male character was generic to be honest. In the end, one -the book had boring parts I skimmed through because again, already read it when it happened, two - I could have done without them constantly being injured, and three - the book was just overpriced for what it was.

Charlii: Awesome job again!
I love they way you always get updates on the past characters when reading the next members story.
But there's only two Buchanans' left I'll be sad when the series ends.

Mary Heron: Love these historical novels by Lynsay Sands. This series started with An English Bride for a Scottish Laird. The first of a trilogy which introduced us to Saidh Buchanan who has gone to Laird Cambells keep to be part of a bride finding ball. After the trilogy I. Which Saidh and her friends found husband's Me Sands began the Highlander books in which each of Saidhs seven Buchanan brothers finds themselves a wife. This is brother number gives turn Geordie, as it worked before the ladies have planned another gathering of eligible maidens looking for husband's to come to the Buchanan keep and meet the three still single brothers, Geordie, Rory and Alick. Geordie wants nothing to do with finding a wife he's still going and has spent the last few years helping his brothers secure their happily ever afters but that's before he meets Lady Dwyn Innes who is in serious need of a protector but who doesn't think she has a chance at catching the eye of one of the brothers as she knows herself to be rather plain, Georgie finds Dwyn anything but plain and begins to rethink his position but before they can marry Dwyn begins to suffer a series of accidents which may have a more sinister motive....

Élodie Nicoli: When plain said Dwyn meets a man who awaken her passion, will she be enough for him ...

When I read the blurb, I immediately preordered this book, I am a sucker for wallflower finding their voice. But it is some much more than this classical trope.
It is only later I realized this book is the eighth in a series, but never I felt lost, the many characters are introduced with right amount of details to get to know them and appreciate their strength.
So much I need now to read Aulay and Conran stories.
Be warned you are in for one steamy and scorching hot ride, as the main couple can hardly keep their hands from the other.

Dwyn is so much more than most people sees in her, she might not meet some beauty standard, yet her kindness and resourcefulness enhance her natural and inner loveliness.
She is sure a quiet young woman, but she is not demure nor weak. She just needs the right incentive or person to enlighten what already lies on the surface but is not always seen among other prettier declared women.
I loved she is no woman to drop and weep when hardships fall on her steps, she does not run in circle, arms up, she considers her options and acts.
She...
