Munchkinland: Have several of these books and like them especially because of the perforated pages.

kathleen h.: I have "gifted" this book to my 4 year old niece as well as a friend who is in the early stages of Alzheimers. I have spent hours coloring with each of them as well as by myself. So relaxing!

Dee: The book is filled with flower outlines. It's great to colour. I wish there were more pages though.

westlady: Despite being a gardener and florist, I need practice coloring flowers. This gorgeous book is my textbook for learning how to color complex and even easy flowers. The variety of blooms in this book is satisfying, and the beginner could handle this, though I would say fair hand control will yield more satisfying results, and for that reason I would not give this book to someone under 7 or 8. A beginner will enjoy this, but a moderate to advanced will enjoy it even more. It is almost for everyone!!! I don't quite know why adult coloring books are being suggested for pre-teens and younger, but oh well, if you love to color, age is just a number :-)

jewels: Lovely colouring book. I am a beginner, and sometimes have a difficult time knowing which colours to use, but I think after I do a few I will get the hang of it. Beautiful illustrations of flowers. Illustrations are large enough so I don't have to use my glasses. Paper is a nice heavy paper so you don't have to worry about it going through the other side. I would purchase again.

Mary IngoldMary Ingold: Granted it's a coloring book and no coloring book I've found is perfect by far, this one does really well. The paper is decent. It tolerates wet media applied carefully and with minimal water. It is also great for experimenting with watercolor pencils, watercolor paint and markers. So far I've only tested it with watercolor pencil, but I really like it.
There are a few annoying things but nothing serious:
- Ink transfers from page below to backside of page. This happens when applying pressure with colored pencils. Fortunately it can be erased. Being single sided makes this less an annoyance. The pages can also be torn out to be colored separate from the book to avoid this problem completely. (I just choose not to, because I want the pages all in the book.)
- There is a bit of an uneven cut off at the edges of some illustrations. Leaves can be cut off, but flowers may extend past the point. It may be annoying when trying to color a clean border around the cropped edges of the illustrations. As an artist I work around them and fill in areas if I need to.
- wet media causes the pages to warp and buckle. It's not the worst thing. Then again I am fairly tolerant of it....

Kindle CustomerKindle Customer: I love the many closeups of flowers (I counted 30).
I ESPECIALLY love that the names of the flowers are in the margins just past the perorations. Wish I’d noticed that before I colored the first one (lotus). But, it definitely helped with the second (columbine)!
