Koda: Another excellent travel guide by Fodor. Lots of details and suggestions helped make our trip to NorCal more enjoyable. Thorough and helpful. Fodor's is a must-have for nay trip!

Tom T: Though the Fodor's Northern California guide is very good, I believe it is misnamed. The guide really covers central California. Most of guide is about the area which would include Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Yosemite, and Monterey to name a few. This is in central California.
I have visited several of the areas covered and the guide does a nice job with the history of an area, where to stay, costs, restaurants, and all of the usual things covered in a guide. I have had the opportunity to look at a number of the Fodor guides and I find them the best. They are set up in a logical way and cover everything that will make a trip easier.
