Childofbeatles: The Redshift Suspension Seat Pole works better than advertised. I was reluctant to spend so much money on an item that cost as much as my road bike however, with its use I have been able to increase my mileage and speed. More importantly, with virtually no back pain afterwards. I highly recommend this item for any biking enthusiasts.

BerndBernd: Wer mit einem Kompaktrad ohne Federung in der Stadt unterwegs ist, weiß das auch Fahrradwege und Straßen nicht immer eben sind. Ich bin sehr oft schon vor dem Bordstein, Löcher, etc. aus dem Sattel aufgestiegen um diese abzufedern. Das muss ich mir mit dem ShockStop von Redshift nun abgewöhnen. 💯% tolles Fahrgefühl mit dennoch strammen Sitz (inkl. innere Feder/4 Stufe) merke ich keine einzige Unebenheit mehr. Auch bei größeren "Hürden", bei denen ich früher aus dem Sattel wär, kann ich nun getrost sitzen bleiben. Weitere Pluspunkt ist die wartungsfreie Mechanik. Kein Öl/Maschinenfett nötig wie bei den meisten anderen Herstellern. Die Montage war durchaus einfach. Für die Passform am Vektron S10 kam noch eine Reduzierhülse in 27,2/30,9 in 10cm länge zum Einsatz.

Carmen: I used to use a Thudbuster and loved it for 20 years. Then my mountain bike frame cracked and I moved to a full carbon gravel bike. Recently some cretin stole that bike so I bought an aluminum city bike. I used to own aluminum but forgot how unforgiving the material is until I took this one out on the streets of Tokyo and felt all the chatter and bumps through me.

So I decided to invest in this product and I could not be happier! It was super easy to install, it already came preloaded perfectly for my weight and slid into the seat tube smoothly. The saddle bindings are unique and we’re not at all difficult to adjust, making getting the saddle angle just right, a snap.

Suddenly I feel like I have rear suspension again! The road chatter is gone and the bumps and divots smooth right out.

I look forward to many years of riding with this product.

The team in the US was great, very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. They answered all my questions and more so I am very happy with the service as well.

Cliente Amazon: I bought this brand because cheaper ones would upset the seat by 12cm instead of 9cm from this and I had a very low leverage on seat height adjustment.
It was the best equipment I ever bought for my bike. The added comfort is amazing, it's probably as close as it gets to a rear suspension.
Not only that but averaging the last 2 rides before installing and the 2 first rides after, I got (objective numbers from Strava) an 8% gain in speed and also a 12% gain in relative effort. I'm not getting up on cobbled stone streets anymore.

Amazon Kunde: Auf den Berliner Radwegen ist diese Federsattelstütze einfach nur eine Wohltat. Ich habe ein sportliches Trekkingrad ohne Federung und empfand das Fahrradfahren auf Berliner Radwegen als anstrengend, weil die ganzen Löcher, Wurzeln, Pflastersteine und Kanten hart durchschlagen. Man fährt dann oft im Stehen, weil man sonst Rückenschmerzen bekommt. Diese Federsattelstütze ist nicht zu toppen. Das Federverhalten ist einfach Ideal, die Montage war einfach, das Gewicht ist gering, eine technische Meisterleistung. Es macht einfach nur Spaß!

My only gripe is that Redshift only makes these seatposts in 27.2mm, meaning that if your seat tube is smaller than 27.2, you cannot use this product. Of course, if you have a larger diameter seatpost, you can purchase shims to make it work. I have an old Kona Kiluaea with a 27.0 mm seat tube, and it saddens me greatly that I cannot use this suspension seatpost with that fine frame.

John: This seatpost is the only suspension on my 1000w e-bike. I used both springs, set the preload to 3, weigh 165, and it's perfect, like I'm just still and motionless while the whole bike moves under me over bumps. I don't have any problems with it being too springy, no pedaling issuesz and I really don't even notice the suspension, it just does its thing so well. Holding it in my hand and examining the thing gives the impression this is a precision-engineered product.

Tim: Unbelievably great! I am almost 68...and riding my fabulous ebikes ( Freesky Alaska and Wild Cat are mine... . Wife has a Freesky Rocky) bikes are my daily exercise . For daily use my Alaska (big one...dual batteries) does laps around our 3 acres nightly, usuallyat over14 mph. I have extra lighting so I miss most of the ruts/potholes in the yard...but I always manage to find them. All 3 of our bikes have full...front and rear....suspension but a 6" hole 4"
deep at 12mph plus still transmitts that jolt into your back even with a great older age gentleman wide seat. I added this yesterday..... Unbelievable! It definitely catches what the rear shock doesn't catch and it's fluid smooth! I can’t describe the difference. It is fully tunable...so as I loose weight, adjustmen is super easy!

Because my ebikes are 30.9mm tubes, be sure to get the correct shim....I purchased a 27.5 to 30.9. Excellent fit! I also replaced my lever quick release with one that is more secure...that is tightened via a hex screw.
I am about to purchase a 2nd one for my Wild Cat....and I'm sure once my wife tries it...it will be a third purchase.
FYI...Because of the larger tube...

elzo stubbe: This suspension seatpost does exactly what it should do. For my speed pedelec Stromer ST3 under normal road conditions it is a welcome and essential relief for the lower back. Every bump in the road is evened out properly. So you can stay in the saddle. I am 82 kg and after testing for 500+ km I concluded that the additional inner spring on level 3 is just right. Expensive but awesome quality which will certainly lasts for thousands of kilometers/miles..
