Tom Loonan: These things are super long considering a normal wash cloth. We cut them in half and re-hemmed for a more appropriate size. Will buy again as they are quite good at exfoliating

goreshift_ontarget: I’ll start this off by saying these are decent quality. I ordered a 2 pack of the medium grit, although I don’t think “grit” is the term for it. Texture would be a better description.
I own a few brands of these Japanese wash clothes. Absolutely love them. Will not be using anything else unless something better comes along, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
These are in my rotation, and they have their place. The medium texture is pretty soft and non-abrasive compared to some of the others I have. More rough than a regular cotton, conventional cotton wash cloth, but not as rough as some of the other Japanese exfoliating towels. I use these if I’m not real dirty, if I don’t have much Dead or rough skin, basically if I just need to wash without doing any hardcore exfoliation. They still work for exfoliating, just like I said, not as good as others due to their softness. So, I think this does have a place because it would be wise to have a few different levels of texture, in my opinion.
