Sue: I like the basic design. The pink is not hot pink. It's darker than expected.
It's quite heavy empty, so for me it would be too heavy when filled & I know I fill it with too much! lol Not super large. Nice strapping. Would be nice to have a larger zippered bag inside. Straps are webbing and wide enough to be comfortable. Not waterproof too bad, to carry drinks. It would be good for extra clothing etc for overnight, last minute stays, rain gear, emerg supplies(I have Clif bars, water, woollen socks, flashlight,tuque,gloves,poncho, pants, sweater, bathing suit, towel ...
etc.) And fun stuff too. Looks N ce on back seat. Not sure if there is s water bottle holder. I have sent it back.ay get another colour :-)

L Scully: I bought one of these about 6 or 7 years ago at my local AAA travel office. I liked that it was a nice size (not too big & not too small) and that it had the lower zippered compartment. I took that one on at least 15-20 trips a year, using it all over the world. It was the perfect 2nd "personal item" carry-on on plane trips as I could put snacks, a sweater, my purse, sunglasses, etc. in it and it still fit fine under the seat. After all the years I used it, it started to wear out (there is some sort of plastic lining on the inside that was starting to deteriorate) so I went online to see if I could find another one just like it. To my pleasant surprise, Everest was still making the exact same bag! I immediately ordered this one and have already used it on my 1st month-long trip. It's my "personal item" carry on and I used it every day on shore excursions to lug water, an umbrella, shoes, snacks, hats, sun tan lotion, bug spray & whatever else was needed that day. I love this bag. I think I'll order another one so I have a back-up.
I read where others mentioned a strong smell when they got the bag but mine did not have that at all. I also love the purple color it...

Connie C: I was in need of a new purse but also have to have a portable oxygen concentrator with me at all times so I bought this instead of having to use a backpack. Seems to be well made. Plenty of space, sleeve for water bottle inside, small zipper section inside, coin purse outside, zipper section at bottom for extra storage (possibly for bringing snacks, etc.). Expandable straps for ease of carrying with shoulder strap or just using handles. Recommend tote. Bought insurance too, just in case.

JodiRJodiR: It is a very heavy duty tote that has really thick straps and several pockets through out.
I have attached a picture and placed a wallet in the mesh pocket in the front so that you can kind of see where that pocket and the other two side pockets are.
It would be a good shopping tote if you aren't getting anything too heavy (like 10 lbs +), I personally use it as a 'haul everything' bag to and from my office. I carry everything in that bag from my makeup bag, hair products, lunch bag, gloves, hat, 35 lip glosses, dog treats, sunglasses, tub of wet wipes, a bottle of water, snacks... I could go on but you get the drift, it's a roomy bag.
If you wanted to use it for the beach or for kids stuff it would be great for that. It is big and not ugly.
