Evenflo EveryStage DLX All-In-One Convertible Car Seat - Keep Your Child Safe & Secure While on the Road

Mama_x3: I love this carseat and my 6 month old seems to too. It has plenty of padding for comfort but also feels stout, well made, and most of all safe. Installation is super easy as well and I love how tight you can get it and so quick. It is a big car seat when it's set up as rear facing (in order to get it reclined enough for the proper position for an infant) and does NOT fit well in my 2014 Jeep Compass. My fiance is 5'10" and cannot sit comfortably in the front seat in front of this seat which is the only downfall but I fit fine in front of it at 5'4". I've been in the market for a new vehicle and have decided to go with a Toyota Highlander and I will say we all have PLENTY of room in the Highlander with captain seats in the second row because of how far back those seats go in addition to the extra room in the front so if you have a little one still rear facing and drive a Highlander or something similar you will have zero issue with this seat being as big as it is.

**Update: I ended up purchasing a 2021 Jeep Cherokee and it fits MUCH better than in my Compass. My fiance doesn't complain near as much as the front seats have better adjustability and the backseat is a little...

XFitLauren: Bottom Line Up-Front: You can use this from infant to booster - you will never need to buy another car seat.
Pros:
1) My son seems very comfortable in it.
2) VERY easy to install and uninstall.
3) A lot of safety features.
4) High weight and height max out rates for rear and forward facing.
5) You can use this from infant to booster - you will never need to buy another car seat.
6) Relatively easy to clean (my son has gotten sick twice in it and by the second time I could take all the pads off and put them back on in under five minutes. The first time was a bit difficult to figure it out.)

I have no cons. I am REALLY happy with this purchase.

Overall, I recommend this car seat and I have actually purchased another for my mother's car.

Kyle Rozendaal: We've gone through several carseats for my 2.5 y.o. daughter, and this is by far the best one we've found!!
Best features:
-the ratchet strap for installing--they should Really sell this as an attachment for ANY carseat because it's Amazing! It's incredibly easy to install and uninstall even for me (mom). You don't have to strain yourself trying to yank it tight and have it still be lose... It just ratchets in and it's SUPER tight!!
-different size adjustments--we've only had it a couple months, but I can see how it'll be nice for aging up (or using for younger siblings). It has a bunch of extra padding that you can take off or put on depending on the age/size of your baby
-straps--similarly to the ratchet, the straps are really easy to use. You can pull them nice and tight without breaking your arm, and your child is nice and snug. My daughter often complains that it's too tight! That's a great problem to have.
-great alternative to more expensive brands--we looked into Britax and Chicco, but this is a great carseat for much cheaper than those

Not so great things:
-it's a little bulky.--we have a Mazda CX5 and it fits nicely in there, but it probably...

Haley: I purchased this seat for our second seat for our one year old. We had the graco 4ever and like it. I just didnt want to pay the price for a second seat that wouldn't be used as often. I liked that this seat was cheaper and seemed to still have similar safety features and I liked the ratchet system. This seat is now our daily use seat. I can not say enough good things about the ratchet system!!! Its AMAZING! Super easy to get in and out and install is a breeze! The seat is plush and my 20 pound 30 inch guy fits great with lots of room to grow. I dont have any issues with the cup holders coming out. And he can actually reach them better and they fit his sippy better than the 4ever. The recline indicator isn't as big as the 4ever. Once the seat is tight setting 2 is at one end of the indicator and setting 3 is at the other end. I went with the more upright setting and he does fine with it. I drive a Ford Edge. The passenger seat has to be slightly more forward than with the 4ever.

Grogbor: This is a very easy seat to install. It works like most seats going in (attaching to the seat anchors and whatnot). HOWEVER, upon tightening the seat, I don't have to sit on it and shove my legs against the driver's seat and squeeze as hard as I can to get it to work correctly. The ratcheting lever is phenomenal and is a really slick way to tighten the seat. It does take a few ratchets back and forth, but it is a simple motion and the length of the lever helps with the torque needed.

Then to release the sides, you just pull on the red straps with very little effort. 10/10 attachment mechanism. 50 stars. Yes please.

I've seen 2 downsides:
1. when I'm ratcheting the seat down, if I'm not careful, I can get the ratcheting mechanism squished up against the seat. This can be remedied by watching what you're doing and adjusting the ratcheting mechanism.
2. In rear facing mode, my kid doesn't really lean back a whole lot. I could tell the first several rides were uncomfortable for them. It's fine and safe, so that's what matters, I suppose.

TL;DR: Nice seat, easy to install, easy to remove, at first may be a bit awkward for your kid.
