I've only had it a week or 2 and so far it seems good. It's light weight which I needed because of my shoulders and the pain. So this is easier to push. I liked the lights in the front but the only thing is I don't like that you have to push your foot on the front of vacuum to make it go back before you vacuum!! I thought there was a pedal but nope. It sounds like it's going to break everytime I do it and you have no choice, you have to do it in order to vacuum! So we will see about this vacuum as time goes on. Also the one attachment piece for vacuuming couch or stairs , that falls off front non stop and it doesn't stay. It fell off the last time and all the pieces came apart! And it fell on carpet before I even started to vacuum. So not sure how to get it back together now! So a few things I'm not happy with and sometimes I wonder how good the strength is as far a sucking up cat hair and stuff. It's so light weight but I change the controls on it and it seems ok but Again I wanted to try it because of lights. I have 2 cats shedding right now so I hope it's really doing its job. But not a bad vacuum. My house is all carpet except the kitchen so I need a powerful...

I absolutely love this vacuum! I did days of research before deciding to purchase this one. This is my second eureka vacuum. My first one lasted over 10 years and worked wonderfully until the day it completely stopped. It was a different model so I was a little hesitant about this one. It arrived earlier than expected. The product is amazing. If you have pets or kids, I highly recommend this vacuum. It's lightweight, easy to handle and easy to clean. The suction is great. I have two dogs and two cats. Even though they are short-haired animals, they tend to shed a lot when the seasons change. They have white and gray hair so of course it gets everywhere and shows up on everything. It is so annoying! But this vacuum will definitely take care of all of that. The pet attachment works great. This vacuum gets all of the white hair off of my red oriental rug and that is something I love! This vacuum is so easy to use and does such a good job that my two kids actually take it from me just because they want to vacuum. They will volunteer to vacuum for me. THE GOOD:
-Good suction power and the ability to strengthen/weaken that suction power on the hose tube. Be careful running over threads on rugs or any strings/headphones, etc. on the floor. It will suck them up fast!
-It's nice that the bottom cover can be removed very easily using a coin (see picture) if something gets stuck or if hair, etc. needs to be removed from the roller. my old vacuum was held in place with six screws.
-Very easy to steer
- Pet hair roller, while the bristles only turn with the suction of the vacuum, can often stop. It still works well for vacuuming out the car and floor mats
- Washable filters will be nice to save money on throwaway ones. Instructions say to let dry for 24 hours but mine needed three days to totally dry.
- Good value for the price
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT:
- This vacuum should but doesn't come with the beige 4 inch attachment from my old vacuum shown in my photo and my old one is the same diameter as this hose so they can't connect. I use it to clean countertops of food and dust before I wash them and also use the attachment it on the stairs. The only option with this one for something like...

The carpet cleaning is good. I have just a rug and the carpet cleaning does a good job.
Good to move around, good auction. Lots of tools, the crevice tool is a life saver. I have 2 cats too, so the pet tool helps a ton.

Our last vacuum was a Eureka too. We had our old vacuum for 8 years and it had the best suction of any vacuums we’ve had. Except the vacuum was really cheap in materials - every part of it was held togther with duct tape - but it cleaned our house beautifully.
So, we bought a new Eureka. This one is still made from cheap plastic, if not more so than our older vacuum. So far it cleans really well.
I love that it’s so easy to push and has really great maneuverability.
