Mr K: If you travel and worry about your luggage weight, then this scale can be very handy. I do not like surprises at the ticket counter and definitely do not want to pay for extra weight to my luggage or go through the hassle of rearranging things in your bags at the very last minute. This product is very well made and is very accurate. I weigh my bags that are up to 35 kgs. This scale is very sturdy and very accurate too. You could use this scale to weigh other things at home as well. Very easy to use. Small in size so very easy to carry. Definitely great value for the money spent. Highly recommended!

Eagle Vision: This is a digital scale with a liquid crystal display. It toggles in metric and imperial standard. The display is big enough for me to read.

This has a strap with a flat hook to wrap around luggage or carry on handles.

It automatically shuts off but it’s best to turn it off manually.

It comes 2 in a pack with is reasonably priced.

K. Maher: I bought this scale to help prepare for international travel to see family for three weeks, which meant I had a lot of items to take for them and a lot of clothes. I knew luggage weight was going to be an issue. I wanted to have something that would give me a decent ballpark measurement so that I could make adjustments of what to pack and how to pack as needed. After reading other mixed reviews regarding accuracy, I decided to give myself about a 4 to 5-pound wiggle room in the event the scales at the airport disagreed with the weight on this scale. I had two very large, tall bags to check-in and resigned myself to the notion that I would have to pay the extra fee for at least one of them to be over the free weight allowance. This scale was very helpful under those circumstances. The accuracy was decent -- about a pound or two different, but, again, I've been caught before having overweight bags at the airline counter and have since followed the rule of thumb not to max out the free weight allowance before going to the airport. I just never know how the scales at the different airline counters may be calibrated and also, items shifting in the bag can affect the weight...

Jean: Got this luggage scale 2 years ago and used it for 3 or 4 trips. It worked well, was easy to use and closely matched the luggage scales at the airports. However when I tried to use it for a recent trip it wouldn't turn on; nothing. It had not been abused (kept in original box in drawer when not in use). The battery checked out. I even opened it up looking for loose wires... didn't see anything. Emailed Etekcity and got a timely response. After much back and forth with Brandon (they wanted a video of me pushing the on/off button which I was technically unable to do) I was sent a replacement. I really like this handy gadget.
