Jay.N: I followed the directions, inflated this in my house a few days before we were going to use it, topping it up with the super convenient battery powered rechargeable pump every 12 hours or so. When we went camping there was minimal air loss overnight - and by minimal I mean that the air loss was not noticeable if there even was any. When inflated up to pressure this mattress is really comfortable and does a great job of isolating your movements if you are sleeping with someone else. Our previous air mattress, a coleman, did a horrible job of that and whenever my partner moved I'd get bounced like I was sitting on the other side of a trampoline. There's absolutely none of that with this one. The felted top means your sheets won't slide around while you sleep, and we placed a blanket underneath it when we put it in our tent and there was no noise when shifting about. The pump can be a little bit noisy, but again, compared to our last mattress from coleman, it's much quieter. It's also convenient having the usb charging option instead of having to lug around D batteries like our previous pump required.
I can't definitively speak to durability, but it's been used...

Daniel B.Daniel B.: I bought this air mattress six months ago. I didn't want to review it until I used it a couple times. I bought this one because I wanted one that was good quality and not just a cheap P-O-S.

We went camping with lows in the high 20's, mid 40's, and high 60's. And it performed pretty well in all temperature scenarios.

Insulation:
If you're camping in freezing temperatures, definitely put some something between the mattress and the bottom of the tent. (We definitely did!) In the 20's, I could feel the mattress getting colder as the temperature dropped. Though it never got too bad. However, I don't think it's really made for high performance insulating.

Comfort:
For an air mattress, this thing is wonderful. Like probably the best air mattress I've ever had. And a total luxury for camping.

Durability:
After three camping trips, I'm pleased with the performance. No leaks. No waking up in the morning on the floor. It gets a little softer after a long night, but not too bad.

The Pump:

C. Morris: Only used it a couple nights, but so far, so good. We use this inside a travel trailer, and it is firm and comfortable. Side sleeper and back sleeper did fine, and I'd have no problem for me or temporary guests.

Before use, I kept it fully inflated for a week, to stretch it out. Needed topping off a couple times, but by the time we used it, held firm thru two nights. Is more stable that our previous air mattress, and while a little softer at the very edges (compared to the middle), is much better for getting on and off. It is heavier than the standard edition, and is thicker material than our previous.

Also, the Ryobi High Volume Inflator works well with this mattress. That inflator is quicker and makes the mattress a little more firm than the included one (which does work but takes a while to recharge).

Manufacturer was responsive to a minor question. Wish it had a twist-style valve, but this pop-off works fine.

Not sure I'd use this on anything other than smooth surfaces, but for our use, it works well.

Linda K.: This mattress was quick and easy to inflate, and seemed very comfortable at first. We pumped it up and let it sit for a few hours to make sure it was ok. It seemed comfortable. Deflated it, and then filled it back up the next day. It held the air all day, and by bedtime had just lost a little air (or stretched out) so we added a little more air. When my daughter woke up the next morning it had lost about half of its air and she was practically on the ground. We gave it a try again the next evening, and the same thing happened. Since it's so bulky and heavy it's not easy to ship back. We're going to chalk it up to a "lesson learned"...and won't be buying anymore air mattresses.

UPDATE: I never bothered to contact Amazon or the seller about this problem because I had already thrown out the shipping material, and didn't want to be bothered finding a way to ship everything back. I considered it a lesson learned, and posted a review to warn others. The seller read my negative review, contacted me, and offered to refund my payment. I was truly shocked! Now THAT is a seller who stands behind their product! And while I would preferred to have a great...
