Mary E.S.: I never imagined writing a review about something as basic as S Hooks. Sturdy hooks as promised, great price as well. But it was the packaging that inspired a review. Comes in a resealable sturdy bag divided into 6 parts that are individually sealed. Other hooks I've bought just come all together in a non-resealable bag. Now I might buy some larger ones as well!!

Kaitlin Brown: Used these to hang my purses on the sides of my shoe shelves, I was able to bend them out a little bit with some pliers, highly recommend for hanging lightweight items. Very aesthetically pleasing!

J: This was my second purchase of hooks from ESFUN. The first set was the smallest (2.4") of the 3 sizes.
These are the BLACK 4" hooks. I'll hang larger items for added versatility.
The one thing that I found out about the black hooks is that the finish is flawed on ALL of them.
When I first unpackaged a few hooks, I noticed "cut marks" at the bends of the narrow half. My first thought was that some of the hooks had been sliced by a box cutter exposing the underlying silver finish. It turns out that ALL of the black hooks have "cut marks."
How can ALL black hooks have "cut marks"? Well, turns out they're not "cut marks." Those lines are there because the hooks have a powder coat finish.
When something is powder coated, it's suspended in the air and the powder is applied 360° before it's baked. So, these hooks are hung by twisting/tying thin wire/string around them. When the powder is applied, the surface under the wire/string is covered. After baking, the underlying silver finish is exposed when the wire/string is removed.
Sure enough, when I checked the black 2.4" hooks that I had purchased previously, those "cut marks" were there. I just...
