AlexAlex: This was my first IR thermometer, so have nothing to compare it with and my experience with the item was very short and limited.

I tested few things where I knew the temperature of the object and this thermometer seemed very accurate and fast to measure it. The display is clear and easy to read, so no complaints there either. Overall I was very happy with my purchase as it seemed like for the price it was well worth to have it as it did the job great. Not sure about the longevity of the product as I had it for less than 1h before I decided to send it back.

The only reason I decided I don't want to keep it is because I had some doubts about the quality of assembly of the unit. As you can see from my pictures, the laser wasn't aligned properly and was pointing to the left, so not sure if the laser pointer and the IR sensor were actually synchronised. Obviously in the picture the distance was longer than the ideal distance recommended for accurate temperature reading, but it's just to show the misalignment more clearly. When pointing at the hot halogen light bulb from a distance of maybe 1.5m, the laser pointed to the wall left of the bulb, while the IR sensor recorded...

StefanoStefano: L'ho comprato perché amo fare ottime pizze e avevo necessità di uno strumento che potesse calcolare la temperatura della pietra refrattaria. Arriva fino a 600 gradi, quindi perfetto anche per il mio forno per pizze che arriva a oltre i 500°. Può comunque essere utilizzato per qualsiasi tipo di misurazione della temperatura.
Ormai è diverso tempo che lo utilizzo e non ha mai dato problemi.
Semplice nell'utilizzo, veloce nella rilevazione, display retroilluminato, grande e con illuminazione ottima per essere utilizzato anche dove c'è poca luce. Con il puntatore laser è molto facile e comodo individuare il punto che si desidera misurare. Spegnimento automatico per evitare inutili consumi di batteria.

Brian: have owned a few cheap laser thermos but this is the best so far, even came w a chart and calibration settings for specific emisivity... no other cheapos has that that ive owned!
