Marky: bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig aber wenn man den Dreh raus hat sehr angenehm in der Handhabung. Verbindung war sehr schnell da. kaum Batterieverbrauch. Jetzt seit über 2 Monate in Betrieb ohne auszuschalten und läuft immer noch.

Er WeloEr Welo: No tiene la calidad de otros, pero es de las pocas opciones que existen en gama media para trackball de pulgar con postura ergonómica y cable. Sinceramente, si no necesita moverse el dispositivo me parece innecesario que el trackball sea inalámbrico, dependiendo de pilas y añadiendo otra fuente de emisión electromagnética que puede interferir en otros dispositivos. Para determinados setups lo comprendo, pero no entiendo que el mercado de este tipo de ratones haya dado ese giro en masa hacia el inalámbrico y sus desventajas.

Materiales y construcción: se nota por su construcción y precisión de piezas que no es un ratón de gama alta, pero es más bien agradable al tacto y cumple sin problemas con sus funciones. En cuanto a la calidad de piezas deja un poco que desear, ya que se notan holguras por todas partes, empezando por las dos bases intercambiables, que se vuelven cada vez más molestas.

La rueda al principio tenía un giro lento un poco desagradable los primeros días pero creo que ya se han desgastado las aristas de las piezas y ya es casi normal. De todas formas sigue siendo un poco bailonga. No me gusta demasiado.

Cliente Kindle: Commenti principali che ho letto e con cui concordo: va bene per mani grandi, richiede di tenere la mano più distesa delle trackball Logitech che ho usato per molti anni e uso ancora. Il movimento della sfera è leggermente meno fluida rispetto ai mouse Logitech, ma muovendosi lentamente è comunque abbastanza precisa. Vengo da un Logitech MX Ergo, che mi è costato un sacco ma di cui ho usato poche funzionalità, ma che soprattutto, come mi è successo con tutte le trackball Logitech finora, dopo un po' ha cominciato ad essere inaffidabile sulla pressione del tasto destro (curiosamente). Ora vediamo se questo regge meglio

Cristina: Premetto che non ho mai avuto un mouse con trackball: lo uso per lavorare in ufficio, funziona molto bene, inoltre il fatto di avere il doppio collegamento 2.4ghz/Bluetooth mi consente di collegarlo a due computer, e di passare agevolmente da uno all'altro switchando l'interruttore del mouse. Ergonomicamente mi trovo molto bene, il polso non si affatica minimamente. Consigliato.

M Gordon: I have two of these. The second one I ordered the scroll wheel was acting odd. When scrolling the screen would jump around. Going for a second in the opposite direction. It was very frustrating. I submitted a warranty replacement. After two emails a replacement was sent out. The new unit works as it should. As far as comfort and use... it is very good. I used the logitek for many years. I like the scroll wheel on this better as it is larger. Also I like wired as i use it on my desk and do not want to have to worry about charging or battery.

Daniel Hoyt: I bought this because I couldn't find a wired version of the Logitech thumb trackball (M575), as there seems to be some wireless interference at my location. The Perimice-520 is comparable to the Logitech M575, with an extra button between the two main ones. It includes a couple of plastic insets that add lift and angle; I don't use them but they do fit snugly.

Much like the M575, it's great for ordinary tasks, and is more comfortable than using a mouse. Very little thumb movement is required for crossing screen real estate. However, this same advantage makes it awkward when you need pixel precision, such as aiming in a game.

Perixx software is provided for assigning actions to buttons, adjusting sensitivity and so on. There's a macro feature for creating reusable actions. The software interface lacks polish but it works fine.

The first one I bought had a gradually defective scroll wheel. Customer service promptly replaced it with about a one week turnaround between my first communication and product delivery at my doorstep.

Fox Ford: This mouse is impressively easy to use after years of whatever that type of mouse is called that you move around on a mousepad. I thought working the trackball with my thumb would be a learning curve, but the only issue I've had as far as learning to use it is accidentally hitting macros when I didn't intend to.

I can't decide yet whether my review of four stars is too generous. I like this mouse; it looks good, it feels good, it works as intended, and I can let my cat nap on my arm and use the mouse at the same time. Fantastic.

But it eats through batteries like candy. I have changed the batteries four times and this thing is still calling for more. I don't believe I've had it more than a month or two, and for modern devices using this many batteries is surprising to me. Most recently when I put a pair of batteries in it, it still didn't work. I bought rechargable batteries to prevent waste, and I honestly don't know if the issue is the batteries or the mouse, but at this point it fails to respond every other minute. I had to have a coworker take my tech support chat because I couldn't click into the chat to reply to the client, and I had to scramble to find my old...

Joani Enfield: I used to love my Logitech M570 trackball and have used Logitech's keyboards and mice for years and years. But, when the left and right buttons on my M570 started acting weird and I found out that you have to buy new micro switches for them and solder them in yourself to fix it, I started shopping for a new trackball.

It's not easy to find a good trackball mouse at a low price, but I think I finally have. I'm surprised that trackballs aren't more popular and commonly used given that they take up little space, are easy on your arm and wrist and can be so much more precise than a regular mouse. I'd not heard of Perixx before, so I read every review on ever site that I could find before buying this mouse.

I use trackball mice because I do a lot of text, image and audio editing for work. I also enjoy turn-based and real-time strategy games which benefit from very precise cursor control.

Out of the box, I wasn't so sure about this Perixx trackball because it seemed like the cursor zinged all over the place and the buttons didn't do what I thought they'd do. But, then I downloaded the software driver and configure program from the Perixx website Perixx USA...
