C. Roberts: I have one of these scoopers that I purchased several years ago and really like it. It’s very durable and the holes are the right size to sift. The size is perfect the and I like the angle of it as well and the nice smooth scrapper part.Just for reference I’m older and a small person small hands. I take in cats get them fixed and take care of them so I do know what scoopers are the best. I do over 20 litter boxes a day. The price is a little high but I couldn’t find it anywhere else.

Walking Eagle: Its not like scooping up cat urine would be the purpose I would want to see for my life, but if it was I would want to be this scoop. The slots are big enough to let clean litter sift through, while being tight enough to hold most of the used litter. Whoever designed this scoop deserves more than just an attaboy as they got it right. A+++++++++.

Amazon Customer: My dad bought me one of these from some random store about 7 or 8 years ago when a plastic one I had from walmart snapped and broke on me.
I have 4 cats and one of them is as big as a medium dog with poops to match and this metal scoop has handled them all! Its strong enough to sift through 40 pounds of litter several times a day for 8 years. The holes in the scoop are small enough to catch even the little litter crumbs that break off the pee clumps of our scoopable clay kitty litter while still being large enough to let the litter sift through fairly quickly. It took 8 years, but it finally died on me last week when it rusted where the handle meets the scoop base. After many hours of searching through google and the entire stock of metal scoops on amazon, I finally found the scooper and immediately purchased this little God-send.
If you shovel any amount of litter, trust me this will make the job so much easier and faster, well worth the $8 it cost!

Roxy Gear: This well-built, sturdy, solid scoop has saved me old, weary wrist. Before, I used cheap, plastic scoops which bent over, gathered clumps of litter and were not easy to use. This scoop makes a big difference. Thank you!

Jamie M: With 2 cats and 2 litters to clean, this was a great and necessary purchase. Was sick and tired of cheaper, plastic scoops breaking on me. I see this scoop as an investment!

AV8OR: After breaking 3 plastic scoopers in the last two months I finally broke down and bought this metal one. I've only used it for one day and I am already very impressed. Scooping up cat turds has now become a lot easier and much faster. This thing will probably last a lifetime. It's also great for eating corn flakes. Okay that was a joke don't do that.

MasterSlimes: This tool is sturdy. I have a big-a** maine coon cat, who does not hold back, when it comes to litter contributions !
My previous tool, was a dollar store plastic scoop, which cracked and broke under the heavy load.
This shiny piece of art , is not only strong, but ergonomic. No longer do my wrists get sore from scraping and digging. The holes allow for the just the right amount of litter to pass through. The width is ideal for lining up the largest of turds. Urine ? easy-peasy.
Clean ups are also simple. The finish on the metal ( aluminum alloy ?) allows for easy of washing. Now my cat likes to watch me clean up his mess....if you have to be a slave to your cat, at least treat yourself to this fine instrument.

Stacey: I didn't pay attention to how big/wide this would be (that's on me). It's actually a bit too big to wield easily inside a smaller hooded litterbox (but surprisingly light for its size). I wanted to try metal as I thought it might be more sturdy than my plastic one, but I find now that because it's bigger and a bit more awkward to use, I'm unintentionally scraping and scratching the bottom of my new catbox (and scratches mean more opportunity for odors to stick around). But... any issues I have are preference. The scoop itself is sturdy and seems well-made. So if you're looking for a BIG scoop, this is it! I wish I could find one that's the size of my current plastic scoop (it tends to bend when it gets too much of a "load").

KilbarchanKilbarchan: Truly the Excalibur of cat litter scoops! I have been searching for this for decades! From its sleek black finish to its long handle and right-sized scoop with slots that keep the used and let the clean through, to its just right heft and well edged scoop this is the one you've been looking for. Had it less than 24 hours and have cleaned all 4 boxes 3 times just because. For $6 you can't go wrong. The only potential weakness may be the weld that holds the scoop to the handle. The stuck to the side or bottom litter scrapes or pries off, you do not have to bang on the box. BTW, I'm a 3 cat servant. Update 11/7/2018 The scoop failed exactly where I suggested it might - see photo. Started a return and got a new scoop almost immediately. Was told to keep the old one. The photos show what I did with the old one using M3 nuts, bolts, washers and Loctite. I still Highly Recommend this scoop! The replacement seems to have a better weld but if it does fail I know how to fix it!

Angela: This is a very sturdy scooper. Metal and the perfect size sifting slots. Most others have larger slots and make it hard to sift out small matter. I bought this not because I need it I have 2 already but it's difficult to catch in stock so I got it when I could. My other 2 I've had for 4-5 years. Well worth it.
