2009playhard: It is warm but you can feel a slight cold breeze. It is versatile to be worn more then one way. I do wear a woolly hat over the top of it during extreme cold and end. I may look at different options in extreme low temperatures but am happy with this mast.

Jack: Just got this shortly before working a 12 hour shift outside. I think the low was -2°F, wind chill of -25°F, wind speeds of 25 mph and wind gusts up to 50 mph. The second I felt that first huge wind gust without it on, I was immediately happy I'd bought it. I wore it the rest of the night and quickly realized it was well worth it.

One thing I noticed is there is a little indention for your nose, but it's a little higher up on the mask than where I'd like it to be. It causes the face mask to sit lower than I'd like (more skin exposed to cold air) and, if raised higher, is uncomfortable because it smashes into my nose.

Giorgios: For a camouflage balaclava it looks nice but the print is too bright and unnatural looking, it is also way too tight. If you need to wear a thermal fleece balaclava underneath this one there is no way to get this one over it, it is just way too tight. I gave 4 stars because it is nice but it’s just not practical for colder climates or for larger heads and if you need to wear it over something else for added warmth there is no way to get it on, it’s just too darn tight.

ALSCHWAYZ: It does look a little tight at to of my head. If I wear it comfortably I look like mostly forehead. Hope it stretches out or my friends and family tell me when I look ridiculous so that I can adjust. I like this item but it has added unnecessary anxiety about my appearance.

Joshua M Kidd: I'll be honest, the low price and lack of true brand name recognition in the hunting arena really made me skeptical to buy this mask. I hunt late season, in one of the coldest places you can in the US, and going out on a limb was something I literally took months talking myself into doing. In Northern Minnesota in December, seeing 0 is a rarity. My first hunting trip started at -15 and warmed up to a balmy -5. This mask performed perfectly. Sitting in a stand, with a brisk wind ripping through, didn't have any cold issues on the nose, cheeks or anything that was covered by this mask. I do wear an extra hat to keep ears and head warm, but, that should go without saying in that kind of cold.

Comfortable to wear? Very. I wore it some days with sun glasses on and found it really easy to slip the shades on and off through the day. I didn't find it nearly as tight as others have mentioned, but, that is entirely personal considering face-shape and size etc. Considering I was wearing the mask for 10-11 hours at a time with no issues, I'd say the comfort box gets checked.
