JerryJerry: Unfortunately, the original installer didn't place any supports in the center of our sink during the installation even though I questioned him about it. He cited that it wasn't necessary and in hindsight I probably should have insisted. In any event, at some point over the last 3 years I filled multiple 5 gallon buckets inside the sink which resulted in the center of the sink pulling away from the quartz counter top. Lesson learned as I now place the buckets on the counter top itself and fill them there. This lead me to here and my purchase of EZ Sink Clips along with the PC-7 Epoxy. It was simply a matter of scraping away the old silicone between the sink and counter and laying a fresh bead. I held the sink in place with a scissor jack and cleaned up the under counter sink area to mount the Sink Clips and marked their placement. Mixed the epoxy 1:1 (equal parts) and stuck them into place while waiting 48 hours before actually installing the support bracket and wing nuts and eventually lowering the sink onto the supports (removed the scissor jack). I should mention that the original installers actually made cuts in the counter top to installer their own support brackets on the...

RADMAN: Clips arrived on time - exactly what we ordered. Just surprised that none of the big box home improvement stores don't stock this item. Perfect for our application. Had no intention of drilling holes in our quartz counter top to install the clips that came with the sink. We put in a 30" x 18" Kraus sink using all ten clips. Used Loctite quick setting epoxy - this stuff is good to 3,000 psi of load per square inch - make sure you have everything laid out so that you don't have to hurry the installation. Also, do a good prep and clean the area well with denatured alcohol prior to installing the epoxy and let it sit overnight for a 100% cure. The wing nuts only need to be tightened hand-tight to get the proper clip engagement. Don't tighten with tools as you may pop off the clips from the epoxy (this will load them up much higher than they will ever see holding up the sink). Finally, make sure you set the sink with silicone just prior to installing the clips. We did it with the counter top upside down and had no problems with the installation after things cured overnight. Finally, finally, be generous with the epoxy and make sure it comes thru the holes in the clip to maximize your...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I found these very simple and straightforward to install. The package includes the instructions on the back of the cardboard flap although on mine a barcode had been stickied over it. It recommends 4 posts for a simple ceramic basin (e.g. bathroom) sink and all 10 for a dual steel kitchen sink with disposal. It also recommends using a putty-type epoxy. I used Loctite Repair Putty because it's nice and tacky. The other reviews seem to indicate people were using liquid epoxy, silicone adhesive, or latex adhesive, and some reported problems with those. You should not need to use a flexible latex or silicone-based adhesive because this clip will form a mechanical joint which allows for flexion if the counter is leaned on etc.
I had to repair our bathroom sink by reattaching it to the countertop because the original installer had epoxied the sink to the counter directly (no flexion) and the epoxy cracked loose when the counter happened to encounter a lot of weight on just one side. I decided to redo the install correctly and took a "suspenders and a belt" approach by including these clips in addition to the silicone seal. For the benefit of anyone who doesn't find the...

PGB: After mixing the recommended 2-part epoxy 1:1 it is not hardening after 24 hours at 70°.
Update…after 2 1/2 days the epoxy hardened and the clips work great. If you’re needing the job to be finished a lot quicker I would suggest JB Weld 2-part epoxy.
