Carl R. Stevenson: We live on a sailboat and often encounter flies/mosquitoes when anchored in bays. Gone through plenty of swatters that were flimsy and broke easily and just didn’t get the job done. We bought this multi-pack and split it with another boat. It’s very sturdy and effective. We have 2 in the cockpit and 1 down below. I would highly recommend this swatter. Our boat friends agree.

the stig: I had one for several years that finally gave out. Found these and bought the 6 pack. They offer a 3 pack but it is the same price as the 6 pack? Hopefully these last as well as the other. Be aware they are heavy and pack a punch. Not a delicate fly swatter, these could likely take out a small bird. Works for what I needed.

Alf: New neighbor moved in next door after years of peace, quiet and clean. They brought lots dogs and loads of trash day one. We used to enjoy sitting outside. Now I know what a horse must feel like constantly swatting flies. I broke every fly swatter I bought. So I bought 6 of these just incase. I couldn't break one if I wanted. I'll probably pass the rest out to the other neighbors as holiday gifts...I only need the one.

P.S. I've gotten scary good at killing flies...lol

Aaron Bedell: Lookout Babe Ruth, there’s a new Sultan of Swat in town. Only, I’m hitting flies and wasps out of the park instead of baseballs.

Love the weight of this swatter. The handle is durable and yet somewhat flexible. The rubber swatting end is thick and capable. Your garden variety fly swatter is a 90 pound weakling compared to this heavy hitter. I can, with confidence, go after red wasps and expect to stun, if not kill, them on the first hit which is important if you don’t like getting stung. Actually, the reason I bought these swatters was for the main purpose of going after wasps. These meet my expectations. I have one placed in strategic locations wherever I am likely to run into “the enemy”.

LJK: By far the best fly-swatter I've ever owned - these are so well made that you'll be able to pass these on to your grandchildren. I've read some of the one-star reviews regarding the plastic cracking and can only guess they might have received a bad batch. The swatters are extremely sturdy - I've owned six for going on three years now and these things are indestructible. I'm guessing I've logged a couple hundred kills so far and the only thing that might break is the sheetrock (or window) if you swing too hard. I wouldn't use these on screens.

This weapon will quickly turn a standard size housefly into a 2 square inch debris field. You will NOT need to hit the same fly twice. The fly’s eyes will pass through its a*s and on into the next time zone. The tip of the swatter is slightly beveled so you can scrape the remains off the surface, but you'll definitely need a tissue to clean up the remaining fly-goo.
